Are you sure this is dual-standby? I thought it's dual sim and its feature is the easy swapping of sim?

I bought this phone 3 days ago through online. Nokia is making fool of people. They say they are new entrants in dual sim marke. But they can learn by seeing 1000 of models which are available in the market. That is very bad on the part of nokia.
External features..
-The phone is small and convenient.
- The keyboard is bad. It looks as if it may come of the phone any time. That is one of major disadvantages.
- The screen is not big but OK.
- The side SIM slot is a very good thinking.
- The camera and slot and all other things OK.
Internal Features.
- How ever good external design and all other things are but if the internal features does't work to the potential they have then it is waster spending. I consider this phone to be one in this category.
- The first major flaw i noticed. I live in hyderabad india. I have two sims one is Vodafone and other Airtel. If u keep both sim in the nokia c2-00 then invariable one SIM's signal become very weak or almost negligible. Instead of 4 towers in the signal u will only one or two. Which is disgusting.
- The phone is taking lot of time to recognize both the SIMs the phone. This is major flaw. The phone recognes Vodafone but is taking hell of a time recognize AIRTEL. It is taking almost 2 minutes Airtel SIM.
- The Phone is dead slow.it takes almost a minute to get the home screen after Nokia Logo comes on the screen. The major problem it hangs frequently. Get switched off automatically.
- One of the major flaw is The is phone switching of One SIM when ever the other sim is busy.Its a major flaw. When u are busy on one SIM, If anybody calls u on other SIM, then they will get message " This no is out of coverage area ". That is disgusting. This phone is not ACtive Dual Sim.
- Internal navigation is very poor. If u want to switch on radio then u have to go inside tools to switch this on.
- The camera is very bad.
- The internet speed is bad. Since this is a basic phone i have no complains but they advertised saying fast internet all those i am mentioning this point here. 4 kbps is the speed.
- The media player is OK.. But navigation problem. it not easy to Operate.
So my recommendation there are many in the market which are dual active, fast and more reliable than this. Just skip this phone. If any body still wants to buy this phone send me a message on srikumar_sn@yahoo.com. I bought it for Rs 2900 on 11 of August. I am ready to give you for Rs 2400.00

after getting the settings from the service provider i am unable to work on the java apps eg: opera, facebook
i don't know how to manually configure the settings for java

i had the same problem you are facing now.
just use another sim to confirm the problem of zong sim.

worst Nokia phone i ever bought..
Dears, have u expercienced these issues?
1.when i make call on a sim the other one goes off!!
2.when u search for a contact u have already saved it..u can't find it!!
3.how to copy my contacts from SIMs and Devices to Memory card?

I have a nokia C2-00 with me. The problem that I am facing is as follows-
Whenever I receive a message it shows incorrect timing.for example
At 10:00AM, I switch off my phone
At 10:30AM, my friend send me a message(I'm offline)
At 11:00AM, I switch on my phone again
At 11:01AM, I receive the message, but the message's time is 11:01,not 10:30.
please solve this problem

I have a nokia C2-00 with me. The problem that I am facing is as follows-
Whenever I receive a message it shows incorrect timing.for example if a message has been sent at 2.30 pm it shows the message time as 7.45am.I have called up nokia care regarding this.They have asked me to go to menu>setting>date & time and change the-Auto-update of time as-OFF.Then restart the phone.
I did the same, but even then whenever I receive any message the time showing in it is still improper.I have also tried restoring factory setting, but even that didnt work. i live in pakistan and time setting is here GMT+5. Anybody knowing about this kindly solve my this problem.

When I paired my BH-503 with my Brother's C2-00, the quality of the music is not that great, but with my Nokia 5530, there is no problem at all...

hey, to those people posting comments there. please consider that this phone is just a low end phone and what would you expect from a low end phone? not so good features right? this phone is for practical people who dont want to have different phones for their different sim cards. put that in mind.
