I dont think you can read sms on both sims at the same time, becoz you have only one screen. You have to switch. We should need both sims to standby at the same time. Then we can choose to use either sim 1 or sim 2, we cant use both sims at the same time, actually.

Can anyone say for sure that this phone will be able to receive calls on sim 2 when talking on sim 1? Dual sim active?

today i saw a c2-00 live demo in nokia session it look like same as c1-01 it and same feature as c1-01 but the good thing is dual standby and it comes with awesome feature which is not available in the market which hot sim swape
i.e. You can revome 2nd sim card without switch off ur moble and change another sim without change sim
And NOKIA comes in dual sim revolution market
And GOOD THING IS THAT IT WILL BE AVAILABLE IN FIRST HALF OF JUNE ALL OVER INDIA FIRSTLY IT WILL BE AVAILABLE RURAL AREAS

This afternoon Stephen Elop announced that Nokia has “shifted from a mode of developing our strategy to one of putting our strategy into action”. But what’s the evidence to support this? Here’s plenty. Today we’ve had updates on the progress with Windows Phone, delivering Symbian smart devices and new mobile phones for the next billion users. All the details after the cut.
Cseries mobile phones have formed a strong part of the business, he continued. Nokia shipped more than eight million C3 and X2-01 devices so far. Stephen announced that a Dual-SIM device, the Nokia C2, would also be released during the second quarter. More Dual-SIM mobile phones will follow over the rest of the year, he revealed.

Release of this 'vaporware' product seems very remote. Almost a year passed since initial announcement with no update to it's loyal customers. More doubtful now with news from Nokia that it is shedding 7,000 jobs and focusing on smartphones.
