i got an information from nokia customer care that this phone will be available in india from 2011 january second week.

I personally think Nokia blew it with the phone's release date. I have been putting off purchase for more than a month, since it says Q4 2010, and now, before the holidays many stores have special offers such as rebates and free memory with phone purchase. I really wanted to buy it but since the special offers end in a week, Nokia won't be getting my money, even tho I gladly wanted to give them.
p.s. the Nokia website says it has FM transmitter as well. GSMArena please verify.

Hi,
After waiting a long for Nokia C2 I bought 3 months before Samsung E2152 (i.e. Dual Guru 35) for INR 2650/-. Really a nice phone even better then Nokia C2 specs.
For me, it provides a very good battery backup of 5-6 days + 5-6 hrs talk time (BSNL prepaid).
Further just last month my friend has purchased Micromax X265 for INR 2250/-. This is also great phone and features are better better than C2 and samsung E2152. Check it out all features physically....I am sure you will amazed.

This is a Dual SIM Card phone. But the main problem is switching between LINE1 and LINE 2 as SIM1 and SIM2 respectively. "Both the Sims are not working together".

yet!, 18 Dec 2010what makes this fone special? releasing date is too stupid!... moreEspecially because the first dual SIM. nokia tradition that never developed. the phone network providers are not interested in dual sim phone. because then they will have to compete. I'm not sure nokia will widely released this phone model. in Vietnam they are also looking forward to this phone model. hope that it will launch before Christmas

we expect form nokia, dual sim 20 hrs lalk time 1500 hrs stand by. Nokia please make long battary life mobile. so we no need to carry battry charger with us always.

spoke to nokia customer care in delhi. they advised that this mobile will be available from 2nd week of Jan.
