I bought this phone for calling and messaging and seems to do it well. What I like is you can backup (sync) your contact list by a usb connection on your laptop or pc. Your contact list is definitely something I don't wane loose. Why bother using internet on this phone??? its a 60 Euro phone. Buy something else if you want to play music browse or take photo's.

persons near to the user can hear the voice of the speaker... Its like loud speaker in normal condition also.. very baddddddd

dear fred,
i am not so sure with my answer so please do some more reviews but i believe your problem has something to do with the network.
c2-00 is a dual-band network phone only. if you are travelling abroad you should get a quad band phone, that should work in most of the countries worldwide..

If the 2nd person with you, can hear all the conversation because it gives the same output of voice backside also. There is no privacy!

nokia-c2-00 is very good phoe. it has all types of features required generally.price is very low too.
