There are good phones and bad phones from every manufacturer.
When looking for touch screen, always choose capacitive over resistive.
And the display would be a lot better if its amoled or slcd or led or backlit led instead of tft.
And if you are considering galaxy ace,
I recommend you wait.
There are a bunch of releases coming due next sep-nov into that range.
And there is a waterproof,dustproof, android2.3, xperia active coming through.
Check its specs it runs over ace esp. In Display,video rec, processor... bt same price group. the site says it doesnt got gpu, bt for 720p, gpu is a must. So it probly get correctd by phone release.

That was a mistake.
2.5g is edge. Bandwidth of around 230kbps
Individual download speeds of 28kbps.
3g basic got bandwidth of 376kbps umts
3.5g is hspa
Bandwidth of 7.2mbps (download) and 2.5mbps (upload hsupa).
Individual speeds of 700-800kbps.

If trying to connect through data cable you need to indtall nokia ovi suite since nokia pc suite does not supports it. If you are connecting through bluetooth you just call up your operator for a certain sequence of characters which will enable you to connect to internet.

Increased ppi while playing video means increased clarity.
And do you know my x2 cant play any videos with more than 1mbps bitrate.
It lag while playing.
And my friend's c2-01 got video lags after 800kbps.
Both doesnt play videos more than 320x240 resolution.
In my cedar, I can play videos of even more than 5mbps bitrate.
I recently got xmen fc from my cousin. She got the file converted to nhd (640x360)resolution for her c6.
2.7gb file.1.8mbps bitrate.
It played smooth in my cedar too. Along with .srt subtitles.
Stunning clarity
Guess what cedar is just at 4250rs.

Sorry I can't recommend this phone.Camera is not that good in terms of clarity,even video recording.My 3120classic is way better than my c2-01.I expect more from my C2-01 but I failed.Battery back up last only 1.5 to 2 days in moderate use.5233 & 5230 is awesome at 6k price range here in the Philippines.Add more and you get better phones.
Piece of advice my friends,in choosing what to buy,you must know what is your purpose and check the features you need and lastly review forums here to get ideas for a better choice.That's one thing I learn here.Thanks GSM Arena.

[deleted post]U need to see the display of SE cedar to believe it just amazing.....
Even I do believe that videos on such small screen device is let down but do not misguide ppl on forums & do not give any opinion if you have not used any fone first hand.
No bashing - deliberately and repeatedly bashing the same brand..
Every fone had its pros & cons ppl will compare it & get wat they want as per they likes & choices...
If a fone look good that does not means its better fone technically........
Frankly speaking all TOKIA basic fones looks same check out 2700, 2730, C2 C1 and others .

Boss, HSDPA is more advanced than WCDMA.
UMTS on C2 is nothing in front of CEDAR's HSDPA
Nokia Samsung LG have developed their basic java fones on ERICSSON's Mobile Platform...
S40 is not for multitasking. ppl may go for c2 if they want 3.2 mp camera which is not so good compared to other 3.2 camera fones in todays market. check the review.
Do not forget the 5 mp camera on Nokia X2 was a total Disaster...
In nokia S 40 fone large size java games may not support, no multitasking for sure, low phone memory so hanging issues crop up.
Many a times in s 40 fones u need to reload the software as its slows down & sometimes goes corrupt. Had experienced on my sis's NOKIA 5130 XM & frnds Nok 7310 Supernova.
For touch screens Apples I fone & androids are gr8 than these resistive touch screens some s 60 capacitive touch screens.
S60 may get discontinued forever in 3 years as nokia is coming up with WINDOZE fone & MEEGO fones
Nokia registered a loss of 20% already & the losses will definitely rise in future as ANDROID is going to Whip their Ass........ he he LOlz.....
No hard feelings here its just a fact & my true experiences that I have mentioned......
