Wow! What a nice phone from nokia. I luv this phone so much. So much fast INTERNET and u can also use it as a modem in computer by connecting via ovi suite. Gud features like 3.2 mega pixels camera with nice flash, 3g enabled, bluetooth, expandable memory upto 16GB, java, video recorder and player. Gud audio sound. A gud phone by nokia at such a amazing price...

[deleted post]Wreck, mind it, we are not bothered about price of various phones at Universal. We take into consideration only the market price in the general market.
I request forum users to do a market survey before deciding on the prices mentioned on this forum... as there are many brand ambassadors of various mobiles [cedar]and various mobile shops [universal] floating their views on this forum to mislead the people.
So beware of these ambassadors and you will not feel the guilt afterwards.

Perhaps, wreck forgot to compare LOOKS. C2-01 looks are far better than that of UGLY cedar.
And your comparison of cost is funny [under 5000]. The market price difference is of whopping 1200 for c2-01 [3700] and cedar [4900]. So your opinion fails here too.
The BATTERY comparison is only applicable for you... most users find average battery life of c2-01 to be above 72 hours under normal usage [maybe your friends phone battery needs replacement as it is giving only 27-33 hours backup..check it once].
Nokia battery's uses proven Li-ion tech while the cedar uses Li-Po tech... which is still under R&D phase [read the security hazards of a Li-Po battery regarding overcharging]
Also... do not compare the phones by just taking into consideration only your friends mobile. Its not fair. The usage, network connectivity etc vary from person to person, SIM to SIM & device to device. So you should see the views of many persons and then give advice to others... otherwise your advice is bound to get biased.
Lastly... as you said about usability [user-interface] so most of the persons have nokia phones previously so switching to another NOKIA phone is easier than to new sony interface - you have accepted this.
Nokia c2-01 is the winner again!

PEOPLE, Go for Nokia and don't think about other brands - in support of this statement go through many views on this forum and you will find that most users are satisfied with Nokia c2-01. They are actually loving it.

I'm using Nokia C2-01 for the past three months, and it has never let me down.
I'm able to install all the applications and games.
It's Internet connectivity is great.
Youtube Videos are played without any hassle.
It supports Google Maps.
Screen is a little small but for the price it's manageble.
It's sound quality is great.
And we can even customize the pre-defined equaliser settings.
The Earfones are just great...!!!
This is a great phone........totally a value for money device........!!!

AnonD-10547, 15 Jun 2011if u r buying this ph only 4 3g usage then go for ceader...... moreCedar has worst coverage for a 3.5G FONE abd has the worst gallery that lags like hell!! also the thumbnails in gallery load at an extremely slow pace unlike c2-01 also the cam quality is decent in comparison to cesdar so if someone wants to experience 3G then why not buy a modem??

Your friend, 15 Jun 2011i want to buy new 3g phone so i want to decide to buy nokia... moreif u r buying this ph only 4 3g usage then go for ceader...otherwise go for nokia c2-01.
But i suggest u just put some more money and buy a nokia c5-00 to experience 3g . It got a 10.2mbps HSDPA 2mbps hsupa. + front camera. It is a smartphone based on symbian s 60 3rd edition...
