Your Blackview A52 has less RAM, less HDD, basically same chipset yet somehow is better than Nokia C31? You weren't happy with Nokia G10 with closely matched chipset and more RAM, and you are so happy with Blackview A52? Am I supposed to believe you smashed your Nokia G10 instead of giving it away or just selling it? Sometimes if the phone becomes slow you need to look for what causes it, research and eliminate the problem. Not go around blaming Nokia.

MakeNokiaGreatAgain, 18 Jun 2023Not easy to setup or use? Android is the same on every phon... moreIn all modesty, this phone is not a good phone. Here's the big problems associated with it. I compared it to the oppo a16k which has a smaller battery size (4230 mAh) while this one has a 5050 mAh battery, guess what, I get more screen on time with the oppo a16k due to its power efficient mediatek G35 which can make the battery lasts like a 5000 mah battery.
Second, dorsal fingerprint sensor, this was a thing back in 2020 but the side mount fingerprint looks modern and more convenient to use, Nokia could incorporate that in the G series but cannot do that in the c31. Even oppo, vivo and Samsung has stopped using dorsal fingerprint sensor and went for the side mount fingerprint
Third , software updates, no software aka OS upgrades and the phone will remain that way, while the older Galaxy a03 core will be upgraded to android 13 as promised by Samsung.
Fourth, people don't give a rat ass about phone nostalgia these days, this is why Nokia is far behind oppo, vivo, Xiaomi, Motorola and other brands.
Fifth, a micro USB?? Really??? My blackview A52 runs android 12 go and runs on a unisoc sc 9863a1 just like the Nokia c20 but has a USB type C port for charging and OTG purposes.
Sixth. The dewdrop notch display, it looks super outdated and I would prefer a v notch instead. With the same processor, Hisense offers a big screen with a punch hole display and type C port.
Seventh. Android one unoptimization. These other phones including realme have all heavy skins but they manage to be fluid in animations and app opening. Android one seemed sluggish and if it has software upgrade, it would render the device buggy. I made the mistake to buy a Nokia g10, thank God, I don't have it anymore as it ended up in the trash after I smashed it on the wall

Dude, I've been using a blackview a52 equipped with the same chipset, it's been 6 months and I didn't notice anything suspect like phone hacking, battery depleting fast or battery overheating. Instead of listening to people, you should try to use the device first

heap of shit! Buy something better. Nothing makes sense, not easy to setup or use, eg just try and access your photos from windows. Just OK for the dumb user.

Unisoc SC9863a has a major security flaw which allows hackers to take control of the device. Has Nokia fixed this issue in their C-series phones, most of which use this chipset?
"The vulnerability allows intruders to access call and system logs, text messages, contacts, and other private data, video record the device's screen or use the external-facing camera to record video, or even take control of the device remotely, altering or wiping data," said McLean, Virginia-based mobile-security firm Kryptowire, which discovered the flaw.

Nice design, great build and solid, slim bezel, small U drop front-camera.. The screen is large and quite satisfying for playing mediocre games, watching youtube, netflix. Its slim and lighter than other smaller phones.. The battery is great too. It's really suitable for children and parents, or people who need simple smartphone which is strong and reliable.. At this cheap price it's really worth it. This is Nokia..
Hope they can upgrade the chipset for the next launch and keep low the price..

Hi. Has anyone else now find that WhatsApp no longer works properly. If I don't use the phone for a while the messages don't come through unless I open the app and check. Then messages come through. Still working fine on my VIVO Y12 so have gone back to that phone. I have reset the phone and tried a different SIM card to no avail.

it is working fine without changing animation settings after 1st update so far didn't see any restart issue or heat up or any audio video lagging in games or youtube as kids watching poems on youtube for hours

it is good in every way for me sim signal are very strong WIFI is connecting in just a blink of my eye doing fine for me start playing pubg also on it but yes on smooth settings not HD. Touch is very good and display is too good with PPI if 260. If you want a good device in low price than go for it and dont forget to turn off or down to 0.5 for the animation settings guys

AnonD-1065015, 24 Feb 2023Personal preference suppose.yeah kids do like big display for watching poems and playing games bcz my mobile is not just for me for my kids too. its not too heavy and not too thick as compared to realme 5 pro and poco x3 pro c31 is dominant. Grip is great and it is not fell down even once till day by kids.
