A good phone when you learn to live with its shortcomings.
-No brightness level control, like other s40 phones. You are not looking for a sensor for automatic brightness control but having a manual control is a must for every phone.
-No dedicated volume control. I'm surprised there are phones these days that lack this one.
-Cannot delete/transfer multiple messages at a time.
-Cannot create a different folder for messages.
-Some issues when updating phone software to v8.63.
There are other issues for me that are more of a personal preference. This is a budget phone but some of the missing features are pretty much basic.
Anyway still a good phone. Price has dropped around 20% since its release so it's really a good buy. Doesn't look cheap. Nice qwerty keypad and display. I miss some features of my previous Nokia phone but when you get used with this phone, you would love it.

I have passion for the phone and understand it.Is good for browsing by providing wide view of the screen also with appropriate battery capacity.Qwerty keyboard contributes to it's beautification but where it matters me most is the display of application error by acceessing the nokia serie E java applications.I can't play real football on it as one of mine favourite games.

Fran, 04 Aug 2011The wifi of my c3 doesnt work here at home but checking it ... moreI have the same problem. It seems that you need to connect to altrernate between different networks does the trick. For example if I try to connect twice in a row to my home wi-fi it will not work. But if first I connect to another network then it will work when I came home. I did not find a solution so far.

I used the Nokia C3 phone for about a year now and I amazed of what it does...for the price. Wi-Fi on a $80 phone ! Good web navigation and YouTube. The only thing missing is a version of Skype and an Internet radio that will work. The wi-fi connection is very good and works fine. It is not as easy to use as a Ipod but it does most everything I need on the go for a small price.

Can someone tell us if we need to download a patch for the phone to read the format. I have a big problem with the push email service. I just can't get my yahoo email address on the system.

its a nice cell but it hangs a lot...n its memory card doesn't perform well.
