I got mine for 6k here in ph.. and it has wifi! I can chat thru this phone.. You will be notified when you received any email and chat messages through your phone immediately.. of course you should have wifi connection.. the music was also great.. but i need to buy 8gb memory card.. so that i can also transfer some videos.. :D

No Brightness set... morei agree.. i hope Nokia, in the next update SW.. would consider adding brightness setting.. and update the apps like OPERA and the nokia messaging.. frankly i didn't like the nokia messaging and the nokia communities.. i prefer using the opera or the browser instead.. but overall it's a nice cool sleeky phone with a long battery life phone..
and again i RECOMMEND you to UPDATE your phone! Use Nokia Ovi Suite! it's not included in the package coz you can download it @nokia website.. you can connect the phone using Bluetooth or via USB cable..
There's no reason for C3 to hang up coz its an S40v6 phone.
and for those people doesn't understand the WIFI connection.. it doesn't cost you anything, you just have to connect your phone using wifi.. ayt!

stop whining about the wifi issues.. cause there's no problem regarding the wifi connection.. maybe you need to check out your wifi router system.. or perhaps reconfigure your internet provider.. don't blame all the problem on the unit instead makes some solution, moron.

Well c3 ia basic model with wifi.cool....!but tis not programmed by nokia to support games in airtel live or in other websites.tats why they gv prudently 6 mths free browsing in airtel.good investment........!

This is really a good phone except for
No Brightness settings
Plus connecting this to a bluetooth headphones is really bad. I dunno why, the sound is Mono also the AVRCP profile isn't working. Its like a regular one ear bluetooth headphone.

After some initial problems with enabling surf/MMS Im now up and running. Im generally very pleased with C3-00 - although I would prefer Nokia adding offline Nokia maps 2.0 in future firmware updates. Nokia maps 3.0 was added to Nokia 6700 classic, so it CAN be done. I wouldnt hold my breath though. In the mean time one is stuck with online-demanding Google maps 2.3.2.
I agree with "c3_boi" that some criticism is really of target. Theres both a trade-of AND a flipside with a budget-phone like C3-00. Old trusty "Symbian s40" also means stable/very few crashes. 2G + minor screen-res + a big fat 1320 mAh battery means extraordinary long batterylife. Cheap also means less anxiety and more casual phone-use.
And by the way: the OP-system IS Symbian - although just s40. Its an updated version of s40v6. A nice surprice is that SMS now supports conversation-mode. One now also have direct-access to Photos (My photo, Timeline, My album).

I really do not quite comprehend why there are people who seems to can't quit complaining and whinning around how bad the phone is. First, this is a budget phone. Simple logic, have you ever seen a person who bought ferrari feature car that has a price of a fiat uno? For crying out loud.
The Phone for me is a superb phone. Those people who keep on complaining must have acquire it from a the grey market rather than directly from Nokia stores. I pity them. I never had any problem with htis handset whherein I ended up not using muvh of my high end blackberry handset.
I highly recommend this phone for those people who wants a great phone with great features.
It's not a perfect phone so keep whinning! It has it's own minute and tolerable flaws.

I woudn't recommend anyone to buy C3-00, because I already made this mistake and all I discovered is that there's no office suite for it since it's s40-based (just looks like Symbian. don't fool yourselves), it's very slow (lags even when you exit the built-in Calculator), camera is awful (both still images and video are extremely low-quality and grainy), frequently crashes when you try to play videos that are saved on the memory stick, reboots out of nowhere, built-in Twitter/Facebook clients don't work when you go wireless, the built-in mail client also works only through GPRS, etc. And that's just the half of it, even though I'm with their latest firmware (4.60). The best part is the so-called "Wi-Fi" is absolutely unusable!!! And, if you think it's only my unit a faulty one, go to www.discussions.europe.nokia.com and see all the oppinions there for yourself - all NOKIA C3-00 have a SEVERE WI-FI DEFFECT! Do not fool yourselves, buy another phone.
