Alex, the phone will be out end this month or mid next month in kenya. Be patient. I am also waiting for it release to our market

Great non-pricey phone for young teens in my country, Indonesia. Great for their pockets not for the connection to internet. In Malang, my hometown, the supporters of our famous soccer club, AREMA, are buying this C3 like hotcakes. AREMA rocks, BONEK sucks!

i called up the no. given in one of the opinions and talked to customer care person and he was lik u gotto wait 4 another month or so !!
r nokia ppl crazy???!!
2nd quarter is alredy over and nokia care centres in india still hav no clue abt its release ! y dis delay nokia ????
ppl hav got tired waiting for this phone and r opting for other brands!nokia you mite lose ur regular and dedicated customers(u alrdy lost many though ) !!do release this phone quickly in india !!this is shame on nokia part...giving hopes to ppl and thn not keepin up to it...release it soon !!....

Indra, 01 Jul 2010I heard its jst for 7000rs.. and is available now in Mahara... moreWell I guess that Nokia had announced these phones C6(14K), C3(6K) and X2(6K) in a hurry.
And now since the other brands like Samsung, LG and SE have alredy RELEASED new phones with the same specs or better at a lower price than the expected price of nokia's upcoming chaps, it has become a nightmare to nokia to release their phone.
In India now the telecom industry is booming very fast, even some brands like Micromax(6%), Lemon are coming up with a Markable Market Share.
About Nokia I am pretty sure that they know it very well that launchin their phones at this expected price with these mentioned specs not gonna help. And even delayin it.
I still remember whn C3 n X2 were announced. the exexpected price for X2 ws 90Euro and for C3 it was 120Euro. almost 30% extra.
And now C3 has recently launched out at a price tag of 90Euro. and i bet C3 wud have gud demand thn X2. Although X2 is for music n C3 is for Social Netwrkin. But both phones hv 3.5mm jack now nobdy plays music on loud spekers. get a gud bass headset n enjoy music.
ANd about 5Mp camera. well thats a big time catch bt wht I wonder with is tht 6303 tht has 3.2Mp gets me a pic for 600-700KB thn how about 5MP. i guess 1 pic = 1MB. Y would a music lover who wanna go with X2 comprimizes on the memory for Camera??
Conclusion is this that prices will surely dip down for X2 and C6.
