Can you compare the photos taken using your C5 5mp and the photos of the old C5 in gsmarena's review? Are the pictures clear when zoomed (don't consider the size of the photo) and are the colors as good as the 3.2mp? I'm just worried that the photos would appear dim just like other Nokia phones with 5mp. I want to buy C5 for its camera because I find its 3.2mp camera as the best even for other Nokia phones with 5mp. If Nokia retain the vibrant color and the clear quality of the photos from the old C5, I'll go for the C5 5mp. But if Nokia sacrifice its photo quality just to give the phone a 5mp camera, I'll go for the old one. And about its firmware, can it be updated to the latest firmware, the v071.005? Please response. I'm planning to buy one. Almost all shops here in our country replaced the old C5 with the new one. I want to make sure it's a good buy. Thanks!

yesterday i bought c5-00.2 5mp.guys its just awesome.same c5 with great hardware updates. every apps is updated.sound is enough loud.head phone in the box is also good loud.price is just Rs7350. forget c5 3.2mp and go for c5-00.2 5mp.they recorrect their faults.this is why people trust nokia.

bobby, 20 Jul 2011i am using the phone since 6 months, the steel keypad with... morehahaha!..
maybe you are too rough on your C5.. I got mine for about 4 months already and I am telling you.. screen scratches are very minimal, my keypad still looks brand new, the back cover (battery cover) have few patches - those patches are from the outer plastic cover/protection of the steel cover, overall, I think I can still sell it for a price near its brand new price (maybe 10% cut-off).
well, I got my C5 well protected.. I have put screen protector and a jelly case to protect the steel battery cover for patching off more.
Maybe you were thinking that I am a soft user of this phone, but you are totally wrong!..
I use it everyday, it is always on my hand, I used to surf the net almost every possible time thus making the keypad overly used but still it looks brand new!..
