i had never compared this phone with c6-01...if you think that only 250+ euro phones have got transflective screens.
i compared c5 with nokia 6303 classic which had a transflective screen with excellent sunlight legibility..and the price is not even 120 Euro....
now what do you say.....

nokia c5 is very nice phone with fast internet speed, nice keypad, camera and video recording is excellent,great gps, supports thousands of symbian application, too much handy and good battery life.but some people mention this phone is very bad in the review. i warned those people if you cant able to use smartphones you simply buy the s40 phones or samsung guru or lg mobiles or micromax or china mobiles.

AnonD-7474, 01 May 2011I dont recommend any one to buy nokia C5,there is a common ... moreStop leading people astray. I have had this phone for over 3 months and have had NO PROBLEM with the phone. In fact am just amazed by its durability(it has fallen times without number) the phones os is fast and i have never had memory full notice. If you cant use a smartphone then you are not SMART.

Hi guys i just wanted to know if the nokia c5 can download computer programs like a antivirus setup program, computer games or windows media videos? Can it download any type of file and store it on the memory card?

Anonymous, 28 Apr 2011 guys beware!! if anyone in this forum says that c5 screen... morewrong dude, sunlight legibility and screen contrast are good but drawbacks are super-scratch and fingerprint absorption for which its impossible to see anything under direct sunlight. another reason is bad viewing angle, but u cant blame sunlight legibility..

Hi friends i m C5 user using this phone since last nearly 5 months or so but facing problem with handset since last 2days handset gets restart automatically can anyone pls let me know what should i do for this ? cause without phone i can't work at all....

C5-00 (or simply "C5") was launched 1 year ago (may-2010), and it's starting to disappear from operators' catalogs here at Spain, so probably it's reaching the end of production.
My question is? Is nokia going to launch (probably in may) a good sucessor of C5? I mean, a classic "keyboard-only" (no touch) phone, and with advanced features as C5 has (had)?
I know there are many classic nokia phones, but they are too basic. I'd like a good sucessor of C5, with GPS, good camera, good battery, good processor, good memory, good screen, good keys, good design, good materials, good quality, etc.
