its d worst mobile phone i"d ever bought...........simplyy a wastage of money..pls think of sm another 1....hangs witin mins.no wi-fi............no music format supported....instead go for sony ericsson spiro

hello friends ! after a few days I am back again with my experience about C5.I am a user of C5 since nov.2010.still now I love my sweet C5 as my 1st day.according to my personal opinion---
The main advantage-
** Great internet speed in phone and even in Computer.
** Camera is excellent(specially it record video which you can see full screen in your computer with a great clarity).
** Too much handy.
** Excellent software and theme support(after fix the certificate expire prob.).
** Nice keypad.
** Great GPS.
** battery back-up is too good.
** After purchase license with only $15 I can edit any ms-office document.
** s60v3 software,which is very smooth and user friendly.
** last but important "price is affordable"(remember you take a smart phone).
** Sound quality is great after software update.plz don't use the default headphone for a great sound,try WH-205 model of nokia
or something else,me using samsung headphone.
main disadvantage-
** Headphone is too bad which comes with package.
** screen size may be 2.4" or 2.6".
** No wi-fi.(according to its price I hope it does not matter,and for me wi-fi is no use)
But many of my friends talking about Sony elm.I have use both the mobile.
though I know that the technical Specification of elm is better than c5 but
according to me the internet speed of nokia c5 is far better then sony Elm.
you couldn't get free gps through elm.Elm is a java based phone,C5 is Symbian.
battery back-up is better in c5.all over c5 is a smart phone.
At last I just want to thanks Nokia for making a such great phone with a affordable Price.
But always remember that C5 is a smartphone only for a smart mobile user.

But can you tell me what am i doing that it is getting full. After changing the soft i`ve just installed new Opera mini, and downloaded few videos and music from internet, and put one film in memory card with USB from computer. can it be the reason?

I've been using the C5 for about one year now and have always sworn by Nokia. I must say that this is the first time that Nokia has seriously disapointed us, or should I say myself. I had initially bought two one for myself and one for a friend. Both of us loved the phone but the only main problem is that the headphone and/or speaker phone volume is very low that you have to strain to hear what the other person is saying. You can forget about hearing anything while you are outside waiting to catch the bus and are in the middle of traffic. We have now changed to BlackBerry 9105 after one year of trying.

Good: Smart look. Brilliant color (16m). Long Battery life. Good picture quality (under day light).
Bad: Very Very poor Speaker sound. Hang for couple of seconds frequently. Little bit slow response. Poor flash.
Suggestion: Think twice before purchase.

Bought Nokia C5 almost 12 hr ago. It is fast with internet i use airtel edge. Updated the software no hanging. Camera is good almost better than my earlier phone Lava A9. Headphone is useless. Sun viewing is not good but better than cheap china sets. 16M colour is good, only screen is too small it must have been 2.4 inches.

[deleted post]The camera of my Nokia C5 was hanging when i was trying to use it, i took it to Nokia service they changed the soft it got ok. But after some time it started again, and now i can`t even switch it on:) Please tell me what`s the problem? can anybody help me? is it connected with soft or with processor or something else.

Nice smartphone. I am using it from 6months. Camera,internet,battery backup,video(record/player) are excellent. I am satisfied using this phone. sound is crystal clear.

Can d camera sound problem(i.e. There is no option 2 switch off camera sounds-we can only change them) be solved by software update?
Pls also tel what gets improved in the software update.

hello . i bought this phone in Iran with guarranty .
It`s cpu speed is 192 MHz !!!
It`s LCD has serious problems ( if you rotate the phone , then colours will be changed )
