it's a good phone if you don't care about wifi..
there is only one problem with this cellphone it is the low speakers sound. i can't hear the ringing tone in most of the time so usually i miss most of calls. i don't know what's the problem with nokia engineers !! is it hard to make this cell a bit louder ??!

(not like bookish language that i knw but i want to know the comparison of c5 with cedar in practical aspects...)
for eg. i knw the practical usage of cedar...
likewise
talktime- 4.5 hrs maximum
keypad- superb
battery charge time- 3 hrs with charger and 2.5 hrs with datacable
synchronise- ok ok.. but in my previous htc it was very smooth.
bluetooth- excellent.. such a fast
browsing- poor in 2G but superb in 3G
graphics- excellent
multitasking- nice
camera- 2 MP,, good resolution in daylight
call quality- average
call recording- is there but with the bipppppppppp
sound- poor in speaker but superb in handsfree. (but not the company's handfree some otherone.)
phone look- good
can anyone give me comparison like this... of c5 (practical usage) i would be really thankfull..

If NetQin Antivirus is in actives moode working from behind to keep the phone safe, of course it will make the phone working a bits slow.. lol.

soft plasticThe memory card cover and the lock for the back cover for the battery is a little bit soft, you got to be carefull when open and closing it.
I had drop the phone once, lucky, there was nothing harmed to the phone, so the phone is quite tough in built.

Smartphone like c5 will never go out of date, because classic will never go out of style. Touch screen phone is not a fancy thing anymore when tablet is around, by then, touch screen will only be made or specify for tablet only. I think you should buy c5 while the price is still low, if when nokia made another SW update for this phone, the price will go up.

There is no benefit of having a nokia resistive touchscreen. Touchscreen response in 5230 is really irritating.
U won't get front videocall camera, 3g speed of 10.2 mbps, 3.2 mpx camera, flash, a 600 mhz processor in 5230. Also 5230 is really slow when compared to c5 & the loudspeaker volume of 5230 is one of the lowest I have ever heard.
So, now which one do u want to buy ???
