Men! This phone is damm too sophisticated. It's battery is one of d best from nokia and any mobile phone i could ever dream of. Ever since i bought it i've never regretted buying it. 3.5G, 2ndary camera, 2ndary speaker,etc. It's equivalen to C6,except the camera and wifi.

Hai guys I am back. Yes you can disable camera sound. Just download this software "http://john.mobile9.com/download/content_delivery.php?key=MTgzL2Rpc2FibGVjYW1fanp3bWVwZTcuc2lzfDEyOTY0NjcyNDR8" and sign it with free signer. Install it and go to profile>personalise>warning tone>off and restart your phone. Now take picture without any camera tone. Pls dont forget to tell thanks. Be happy with this little geneous.

hi there i have been using nokia 6233,frm past 3 years without any problem,i am planing to change it to nokia c5 i have gon through all the comment posted here nd in there was said that tis cell is causing some problem in 3G nd its other function plz tell is that true

Can this phone (Nokia C5) be used as a modem (10.2 mbps HSDPA)while conected too the computer via Nokia PCSuite...??
will it work better than BSNL 3G datacard (7.2 Mbps)..& provide me higher downloading-surfing speed..??

when i m using my phone as a modem using 3g
but connetion speed shows 460kbps
but i m check speed in speedtest.net it shows above 1mbps
pls tell me how 3g data modem setting?

I been reading these opinions since start. What I cant seems to find is no one has mentioned anything about the Nokia IM App. Does it really work? have any body checked that? Yahoo, Gtalk, MSN & OVI? how do they per4m?
I checked Nokia india site it says the phone has both apps Nokia Messaging E-Mail and IM.
Can anybody please check and confirm?

One of the useful capabilities of this phone is the REMOTE LOCK. It enables you to lock your phone if for example it was stolen. You just simply send a text message (use other cellphone of course..LOL) on your stolen cellphone and it will automatically locked itself. AMAZING!!!!
Camera quality is far better than nokia 5800XM even in low light condition.
No hanging issues due to fast processor. 600MHZ!!!!
Speaker volume is not that good compare to nokia 5800xm
Internet browsing and downloading is very fast.
You can use FBT(free browsing trick) for internet. This is because its symbian. I like symbian o.s.

only cons are small screen and lack of wifi
i wish nokia shud manufacture a similar phn wid 2.6"screen and wifi namely c5-05 or whatever . . . . . . (:-D)

C5 Fan, 30 Jan 2011I'm using BSNL 3G, getting 4 mbps download speed!dude tel me whether when u download somethin,speed is continuously 3-4mbps or keeps on reducing to zero??i use docomo 3g i am having this problem when downloading in phn and wen i use it as a usb modem ,..... its worse connection disconnects every few minutes....r u getin dis prob in ur phn?? or its a docomo(service provider problem?

the sony ericsson zylo's camera is better than c5's camera i think but its not a smartphone...else i would surely took that

V.Nice phone for NOKIA.
I want to know if the pictures in this phone in the GALLERY can be viewed in PORTRAIT mode than in the 'default' LANDSCAPE mode?
I have a 8GB card in the phone. I feel my phone is slightly sluggish in performance. Is it due to memory card???
