im using nokia c5 last 1month. i have purchased 3 c5 for my friend and brother and for me also. keypad is ultra fast. you can improve c5 sound in headset by using n73 headset after removing connector

hey! All s60v3 phones cant install unsigned apps unless these apps are signed using cert and key. U can also bypass ur phone by hacking it using secman,helloOx and other hacking tool. C5 is a new phone and firmware is updated there is still no working hacking tool for it. Only by the use of jaff/phoenix u will able to hack it. Once your phone is hacked u will n0w able to install unsgnd appz even w/o signing it

To all C5 fan:
If u are looking for smartphone with lowest price. This is the only one Nokia C5. Been using it almost 2 months, no problem at all. Battery last for 4 days at least for normal use. GPS with garmin mobileXT can run smooth. Camera is wonderful. U can install various apps on it.

Just tell me can u use skype on that. You can't man. I challenge u. What's the hell your 7610. It's a old phone, having old os. Don't compare it with the C5. Lot of application available for c5. Thats the advantage, whatever we want, we can do in it.

and answer to this 3 qns
1.if a certificate report which is copied from a valid .sisx app is put into a virus or a new virus with a fake certificate report , which can mistake the phone os to think its valid , is created wont it work in c5?
the certificate report error is showed also in my 7610c when i generated an e-book and tried to install my app in my 7610 - (gave to recycle last year), which wasnt a virus.
but still a lot of viruses attacked my cell some through apps and some as other files.
2.so how can u say c5 repels current symbian viruses just because it doesnt accept apps without proper software certificate?
3.Why is such a complicated os needed in a mobile phone, just to say it got an os and just to create folders the way you want them , when sony properitary os running in java platform can multitask without slowing just like symbìan os and perform anyway u need?

guys i'm sure within a few years the monopoly of symbian smartphones will be brought down.
and there will come a situation nokia drops it share in symbian corporation and start putting android in its phones.
coz nokia is clever and really bothers of losing its market.

The latest symbian os doen't get affected by virus. Symbian has the highest no. applications and games available in internet. In january or in february 2011, symbian once again will get updated to becme more smooth and fast. Remember using symbian, Nokia is still leader in the Mobile phone industry. And in future also, nobody can't beat them.

Virus cannot attack your phone while you surf internet using your phone because it different OS, I mean is different algorithm (win and symbian). Only 2 ways that virus can attack your phone, when u want to install untrust application (unsigned third party applications) and via bluetooth when you get a file from other phone. But both of these NEED PERMISSION from you. If you dont agree with the process, then it cannot attack your phone. So, be aware of suspicious applications or files.

Im sure your OLD 7610 (had no stock in market any more) is standard phone without any third party applications. may be u bought a second hand phone. A phone without OS is CHEAP phone. Smartphone is expensive because it can do everything like a computer in your hand, with small size. Dont fool here if u know nothing about smartphone.

the certificate error report was shown also in my old 7610 and the mobile was a hub for viruses.
thats why i think mobile os is unnecessary and phones without os r better.

bt c5 like all other symbian phones runs an OS.... still virus that could work on c5 with a ,fake software and website certificate report, can be easily made just like older ones without it. so one day dont get surprised a virus gets into your phone
