gotta agree zylo has an upperhand.
except for
just average battery back not awesome like c5, 7.2mbps 3g instead of c5's 10.2mbps, lack of gps,lack of front video cal camera.
thosd guys who supported zylo are almost right.
exept for these things zylo beats c5 in all other segments.
c5 is a great phone and zylo is a more great phone....

66.8db speaker sound while playing music which increases greatly after software update, c5's is 64db even though it hav stereo speaker.

and several other features which c5 and monte doesnt hav.

Dis Nokia C5 has low sound.i m looking for a Nokia 3G fone which has even ok sound loudness and quality in loudspeaker.i have heard of Nokia 7230,2730 wid low sound quality.X3-02 has some sound quality but i don't like its small touchscreen.
Plz any1 help.i want 2 purchase handset not more than Rs.7500.thanks in advance.

All abt dis cell s cool. If Wi-Fi included dis cell would have been more aweful.
The camera s too gud @ sunlight n ofcourse the LED rockz its best. The symbian OS supports many softwares n the office applications(in-built) r off gr8 use.. Bt the navigation plate s to be handled carefully.. Once it comes off it cant be set back easily..
For smart users dis cell phone s an ideal choice.

it is very good

got walkman keys
got shutter keys
plays hd 1080p mp4
plays hd audio .flac format- 1st mob to do that
records video at 24fps unlike c5's slow 15fps
good battery back but not good as c5
about the battery back,we tested both phones after fully charging both....
c5 didnt perform according to its claimed 600+hrs infact it ended at 420hrs where as zylo too didnt stayed for its claimed 360+hrs but eneded 1t 336hrs
the led flash thing which many here considered a plus point in c5 is too bad.my friend too owns a c5 ,the same one we used for testing battery back, and when taking indoor photos at average lighting conditions the flash goes almost unnoticed.it doesnt improve photo quality like d flash in my previous x2 did.
its tooo small that it didnt even produce sufficient lighting which is what a led flash should do....so dont consider buying c5 just because it got a flash
c5's flash didnt improve photography much as you expect.......

Guys...I was probably the most excited buyer of a Nokia C5 but after having used it for nearly 3 weeks, I would strongly recommend that you review other phones which are near to its price and features. The phone is undoubtedly power packed in terms of looks, compatibility and sleekness but it has major operational issues. Biggest and most prominent is the Phone Memory problem. The new phones usually come with a 68MB internal memory but out of that only 12-14MB is available. Around 56MB remains consumed at all times with 37-38MB being used up by 'Other Files' which you will never be able to trace. This is exclusive of ALL applications and installations!
Another major issue being faced is an error in call records and history. I have been consistently facing problems regarding missed calls and recd calls not being properly displayed and recorded. I receive a call, speak for sometime and when I go to the recd calls list, the number is not visible! Again, I hear and see a call waiting when the phone is busy and when I end the active call, there is no missed call intimation on the home screen! Neither is the missed call seen in the call history. All this even after one software updation to 061.005
I think going for an E63 by paying a little extra will be far more beneficial since the phone has been around for quite sometime now.
P.S.: The maps and navigation on C5 is PHENOMENAL!!

blaze, 27 Dec 2010i recomend u check out zylo before jumping into such foolis... moreC5 phone has led flash, its sysmbian and the talk time is double than zylo so just looking at the camera and video recording aspect i will not suggest zylo rather go for C5 and enjoyyyy

is this coreect info about c5 speed that is written HSDPA 10MBPS ,HSUPA 2MBPS , reaaly achieved by any users of it plz tell me , how much good to see online channels, or for streaming vedios..???
the same configuration mobile are E series ,E72,E52 but only little ignorable changes but there prices are high enough than c5.. is this may be bcoz of the specifications declared of c5 are not originally working up to its specified level as other mobiles does. so did the nokia has stopped this product c5.????
i know this is not a music edition or xpressmusic phone but it shold be loud enough to hear the sound even at 3 foot distance music ,,is this problem really solved by by updating the symbian update???
or can i will be able to install yamaha amplfiers in this mobile ..?? any one answer??
E72\52 han document editor but c5 has only reader ..so is there any software available for editing doc files or ms office editor for this c5 phone..
i want the software phone and 3g so want to go for it... so plzs help me to get solutionss....

c5 records video in vga at 15frames per second
but zylo records vga video at 24 frames per second.
more fps means better videorecording , which means ZYLO BEATS C5 in that aspect too

tejas, 26 Dec 2010bro i m with ur view.the guy who said zylo iz better than c... moreim nt deliberately bashing any brand or anything.
just telling the truth bro, i knw what smartphones are, i used one 7610 for several years it did multitasking and was great for that . but the problem is these use symbian60 os's it does support alot of softwares and a large n.o of viruses. my 7610 actd as a hub for viruses without me knowing it, my phone sends data via bluetooth to other devices even when bluetooth was off. the only os's that effectively repelled such virus attacks from my symbian 7610 were sony's.
it is true zylo is a java oriented set but u know, it supports multi tasking too. its a properitary os speciality by sonyericsson usually java phones didnt support multitasking.that is where zylo and sony excels. it is a java oriented , repels mobile viruses at the same time supports multitasking too.
about the screensize thing,
i didnt mean to say it got d best display in terms of color and all but that it is the biggest display in a handset under 10k. oh and c5 isnt better in res , coz both zylo and c5 has 240x320 and 16m colors. i was saying zylo stands out for better display than c5 owing to matching screen res and colors but an advantage due to biger screen.
u said c5's sound increasd through update,
guess wat, sony launchd new version for zylo too which effectively increases zylo's sound too.
and does c5 play .flac format (superb clarity difference through headSET), plays 1080p hd mp4 , got autorotate, got music dedicated keys, got shutter key, got shake control, got track id...?
NO.....
it doesnt but zylo does.and multitask like a smartphone too.
which means zylo is the winner.
which means ZYLO BEATS C5.
