To bad it has no WLAN.
However it has PDF viewer which is important to me.
It would be very nice if it had 25fps video recording and
2.7" screen like my SE W995,but I will probably survive with 2.2" if I buy it.
I'm very excited about using hated by almost everyone, Symbian OS.
Are there more phones with PDF viewer in 200€ price range?
Oh and I can't stand the touch-screen phones so no need for recomedations there.
I prefer standard alfanumeric keyboard that I can feel while touching and typing.

This can bee seen while comparing c5 with any other phone (nokia 5230)

I have buied this phone happy with it though its sound is a bit low but download coreplayer for this mobile it will increase its sound alot............u will b unable to hear max sound using headphones.....coreplayer is awesome with nokia c5......

I brought this C5 a month ago. I am totally unhappy with phone for the price I have paid. The phone basicaly has 2 major problems, one the sound quality is so low that some times I can't hear ring tone even when max volume is selected. Second problem is with camera, 2 out of 5 times when I try to capture a photo the camera does not switch on but simply a white blank screen appears and hangs. This happens even when I have closed all app running in background. People who have purchased this phone have been complaining similar issue all over the web. This surly shows Nokia has not tested this model before releasing it or is that Nokia does not care customers any more and are encashing customers faith as commented by someone earlier in this post.

1) C5 has some minor sound problems.
2) display is good, but few units have dead pixels.
3) camera is good, but has greenish tint at night.
.it has front cam and video calling works.
4) GPS and 3G work perfectly.
But be careful while buying this phone bcoz most of the units made in korea are defective.

How can I install Chinese languages (simplified and traditional) on my Nokia C5. It currently has English and Pilipino.

I bought my Nokia C5 and am extremely unhappy with the phone,its been waste of my hard earned money on this nokia product,the sound quality is extremely bad for a stereo speaker phone,and the bluetooth has been giving me lot of trouble too,keeps hanging the phone,i even spent more money on getting the phone software updated but no change in my trouble,and now atlast the phone suddenly died on its own so have again had to send it for repairs and i hope not to spend money on its repairs again.
Is Nokia company running out of ideas and good designers,none of the newly launched series seem to be good.
Hope they are not out to encash people who have had faith and trust in them so far.

Bought this handset a couple of days back. Everything fine except loudspeaker. Even at the highest vol I can barely hear anything out of the loudspeakers unless I hold the unit close to my ears. From the reviews here I was prepared for low sound but this low! Or is this a defect in my particular set ?

1. is there any sound problem in the phone ?
2. how is the display of the phone in normal light and in sunlight ???
3. how does it support for internet ?
4. and howz camera ? does it hav two cameras ? hav u tried video calling ?
5. howz GPS and 3G ?????
do u suggest me to buy this phone ? should i buy or not ?
