I had been waiting to buy this phone since Mar-2010 when it came out. I like the styling, thickness, the price and the GPS feature.
But, I am disappointed after buying it just recently (7 month after it came out). The build quality is not up to par to Nokia standard. There are 2 things that bothers me and make me write this open complaint on gsmarena.
1) The keypad is not spaced evenly.
2) The LCD gets disturbed and shows rippling effect every time a USB plug or audi jack is inserted and when the bottom D-pad button is pressed.
I am interested to learn whether other Nokia S60 enthusiasts have experienced what I describe above.

the keypad on the c5 is fine but i miss the old nokia keypads in the 90's when key are clearly seperated with a space and the keys are like speed bumps that you can easily type fast even when your not looking too much on the keypad because you can clearly feel that your pressing tha next key better than todays wide flat keys with no clear seperations. now it is looks first before function. i miss te old ancient keypads

Guru, 07 Oct 2010I'm going to buy this one can please someone who has buyed ... morebetter buy another unit. . .i just gave my almost 3 mos old nC5 to my kid. . .im not really satisfied w its performance. . .only d battery life n keypads(but its slowly fading)r nice. . .really got disappointed in its calls d ones calling cant hear clearly my voice n its sound quality is mediocre...ibought a nokia 1280 instead!

My phone camera has stoped work. Also the phone can longer read the memory card.

Nokia C5 has an awesome features for an affordable price no questions about it HOWEVER, after 3months used, the phone suddenly SHUTS OFF and brought to Nokia Care center and did not solve the problem but rather REPLACED a brand new one... I asked the NOKIA care about what's really the phone problem, they can't answer me back but said "WE DON'T KNOW SIR, WE WERE NOT ABLE TO SOLVE THE PHONE PROBLEM" so we replaced it instead.. huh?
The phone did not fell or any mishandled.. maybe there was manufactures defect or something...

I bought a Nokia c5 before 2 months.It will be nice & stylish.It has the many features.I will be used on gps.its excellent working.it supports different types of the applications.so small problem is screen resolution.Camera is Good.Video also Good format.flash player 3.0 is built in.so youtube videos are hd quality watching on my 3g sim.please download the coreplayer 1.11.it supports the almost all video formats.we watch video in various aspect ratios,zoom modes like as VLC MEDIA PLAYER.
