If you are those who use the phone speaker to play music, I think you are going to find 'mp3' experience also better in sony ericsson. C5 has a known problem with low speaker volume.

I am not a fast texter but when I type messages the phone struggles to keep up and simply throws the wrong characters at me. The red phone button and clear button is next to each other so one keeps on closing applications accidentally.. My sony ericsson confirms any red button action... The LCD on this phone reflects light very strangely. It does everything it should but there are minor things that all add up... Not impressed. Battery life is good though.

can anybody share his gprs speed with this handset iam getting 3-4 kbps on downloading & 20-27 kbps on browsing

my phone also has a ticking sound when i press the plastic around the 3.5 mm,
its like its not properly glued to the body..
Is this a defect? Should i take my phone to nokia care?
Will they fix it since there's really no problem but that annoying ticking sound when my fingers presses the top part of my phone?

Yes this is possible. In you silent profile you have below 2 settings
1- Ringing tone (select this off),
2-Ringing type (select this Ringing)
This will allow you to stop vibrating without rejecting the call.

will silence the ringing.
But I prefer to just use the "meeting" profile when I'm in a meeting. Beeps once very quietly for any call/msg/email etc.

Pls does anyone know how to successfully hack this phone because hellox dosent work on it. It either stops in mapping drives or installing root certificate

In C5 when i get call the right selection key above cancel 'C' button shows send message instead of silent.can we change these settings?

Check the specs before you jump in questions. THIS PHONE DOES NOT HAVE WIFI. This priced reasonably low and given huge keypad txt friendly. Have decent number of other features like GPS, etc.
I've been using this phone is 2 weeks now. I also faced the same issue of low music volume. And I noticed its because of the low quality headset that Nokia has shipped with. Check the same headset with my laptop sound is not impressive.

settings>general>personalisation>standby mode>homescreen applications
and uncheck "contacts bar"
Yes it has red eye reduction. In the camera app, select flash mode. chose red eye reduction.
