bt is the sound quality is good enough...?
now days am using nokia 6500s.
is c5 always better than 6500s...?
(considering also quality of display & sounds)

Farabi, 25 Aug 2010 think I'm gonna buy this one. just one query- how's the c... morehi dude, bought this set just two days ago. and it works just fine. i love this phone. and cam quality is fine. but it'l not give u high quality images. means it wont give u images of print quality. but in sunlight, the cam gives u awesome pics. bro, if u r planing to buy this fon, just get it. this is an amazing value for money phone u can get ever.

Anonymous, 25 Aug 2010i hav nokia6300. is c5 sound and screen quality better than... more6300 has the much better display and somewhat better sound. C5 is a value-for-money phone, with longer-lasting battery and more features, but it was made on a budget and we cannot escape that some sacrifices. Having said that the C5 display is respectable and i did not find any issue with the viewing angle that many have mentioned here.

Assume your old ringtone was old.mp3. Copy it from phone to your PC. Then do :
lame --scale 2 old.mp3 new.mp3
The file new.mp3 will be a louder version of old.mp3.
Upload new.mp3 to your phone and set it as your ringtone.

It is Rs.7700 in one mobile(includes card reader), 7800 in sangeetha (along with insurance), 8000+ in univercell (along with insurance), Rs 7850 in Nokia priority shop (including scratch card)...no where it is less than 7.5K...
All these prices are in Bangalore...

Also from its specifications & looks we know that C5 doesnt have wi-fi, camera cover but we should keep in mind that this phone is entry-level smartphone (below 8K). Apart from that I dint find any defects and faults though some ppl are complaining about hanging issues...
If u are ok with touchscreen u can also consider Samsung monte which has better 3' display, wi-fi, good sound quality and nice in-earphone included with package...but it doesnt have camera flash,it has Java OS so supports limited Java applications (but it also includes rich set of applications like C5)...

If any one buying this phone because it is symbain phone think twice because you may hurt your eye sight. Because neither we can enjoy browsing nor videos or good applications. It has got a very small bad viewing angle screen. If symbain phone is needed at this price range go for nokia 5230 or 5233.

screen is very small to enjoy browsing or viewing photos or videos. Screen is of very bad quality. So symbain and fast processor is wasted. And also sound quality is bad compared to x series. And also camera is average. This phone is for people who want classic nokia phone but symbain os is fully wasted by such a small bad viewing angle screen. Better to go for s40 nokia phones you will get same usable features at half of this price.
