What all features should I check before buying the C5?
So as to make sure I don't get a faulty model??

C5 is very nice phone but i hve little problem with this phone on intallation because some installed application is automatically missing and when i trying to installing again it showing unabble to install, what is the problem can somebody help me

image.
About removing the calendar entry, go to
settings>general>personalization>standby mode>homescreen applications
then disable calendar

C5 doesen't). E52 build quality is much better. It also
has a 2.4 inch display better than C5's 2.2 inch one.
E52 has wlan unlike C5.
E52 has too many keys so I found C5 more user friendly.
E52 also has document editor (word/xls/pdf). C5 has only
doc viewer.
I'm not sure if E52 comes with lifetime turn-by-turn navigation. But C5 sure does.
For me, the cost difference of 5k is not worth E52, so
I went for C5.

usability and navigation speed. But opera might save
you some bandwidth at the cost of privacy (it uses
opera's own proxy server to deliver compressed content).
No limit on number of contacts (upto the sd card size).
Yes you can set internet settings and APNs manually
too. Radio (FM) is good and supports RDS. But you need
to have earphones plugged in (it uses them as antenna). Although you can have the sound come out of the speaker phone. My C5 is china made but is of good
quality (no hangs or crashes seen at all). YMMV

Well, i like this ph, but its hanging to much.
I brought two C5 and both of them has the same problem...
I didnt expect from Nokia like this...

I used dis phone about a week...
Over all itz a nice phone...good luking bak n frnt view..n hav gd quality plastic matereals than d other nokia models...
Gd camera...clear lcd...bt not hav a gd music quality through ear phone than my nokia 6300...
I can't find the file manager in dis phone?frnds plz help me...
And media gallery view is only in horizontal view....
Btry bck up is gd....

I like NC5. It is very fast, full featured and nice. But its LCD is absurd. You must look at it just in right position and if you look at it in a angle (even a little angle), every thing will be unclear and colors will be confused. Also there is not an auto focus feature and such as many other models, there is not a preservative door on camera lens.

1)c5 - whether it has default web browser or it has only 3rd party browser(like opera preinstalled)??
2)c5--how many contacts can be put-limited or unlimited??whether contacts can be put in its memory card??
3)c5-whwther there are options to set internet connection settings(like ip, home page,port etc) manually or not??
4)how is radio reception quality??
5)whetther all c5 are shipped from china and obviously bad quality??and any c5 that manufactured in chennai(india) plant??
