phillipines, 12 May 2010my question. is gps free? I mean free from network charges?ovi maps have 2 methods of displaying maps.
1. if you haven't download the map in your handset, it will use data connection such as GPRS/EDGE/3G/Wifi. which mean you might need to pay for displaying map.
2. if you pre-load the map, then you don't need any data connection. you don't even need a sim card in the phone. (note: C5 could be turn on without any sim card).

AF, 11 May 2010hi I'm from portugal and i bought one last week. It's very ... moreno need to confuse about the screen.
several weeks ago there were a troll of other brand that said better not getting the C5 because the screen of bad, and persuade all of us to get another brand instead.

hi I'm from portugal and i bought one last week. It's very good. the build quality, the battery life and the gps is the main advantages. the only disandvantage is the lack of wi-fi. the screen is normal, i don't understand what people are saying...could be larger, yes, but the quality is like another nokia of this class. C5 is great!

How is the Audio-call quality? Is it crystal clear when you speak of receive a call?
And what about the build/material quality of the C5?

Music is find , the sound is lound enough
Connection speed : my operator support HSDPA 7.2 and the maximun speed i saw is 400kbyte/s , when download Opera Mobile from Opera Website
Battery : no ideas , need more time to know
Web : flash support just like other s60 , but can not compare to Maemo .
Modem : yes .

nokia c5 design is not upto the mark. Its display screen is so much irritating. Speaker volume not loud. Office tools require license. Symbian skype application not work properly.
Gps provide +20m accuracy. Gps result more precise with less accuracy
grip of phone not bad streamed video quality nice but not like nokia 5230

c5 is a nice phone/../.i bought it just 4 days before..,.,.c5 is very fast for all operations.,.,.sound and camera clarity is also good

At first , i think the small 2.2" display is the main disadvantage of C5 , but now when i own one by myself , i realize that size is not a problem , but the contrast of the screen is really a problem .
This phone has the contrast too high , that make the image unnessessary shiny , and also "angle view" .
