Niraj, 27 Apr 2010Making a smartphone costs more than making a feature phone.... moreno my dear cost of nokia 5230 around 7200rs so no chance that c5 available in india below 9500rs.
If nokia do such that it reduces sale of 5230. After 4 or 5 monts perhaps its price around 8500rs

correction , C5 in my country is 135 EU , equal with the suggest price of Nokia . And Yari is 220 EU . So it is 70% more expensive , totally a crap .

Nokia C5 price excluding tax will be 8,200 rupees, We all know that Nokia phones release lot cheaper in India. So price will be definately cheaper than Rs 9,000 and after one month it will reach below 8,500 INR.

Also, SE C510 is heavier than Nokia C5. That doesn't help if you're not into bulky and heavy cellphones. Personally I don't like heavy cellphones.

featurwise sonyericsson yari(10000INR) far better than nokia c5 and after 1 month price of yari reduce to 9500 INR. Now i think better mobile for anyone yari. C5 looks little baby against yari.

If you search the web pages you will find that a normal human eye can distinguis about 10M colours to 20M colours..

I'm talking about the quality of pictures that the screen display can produce. 16 Million color display will produce better pictures than 256 Thousand color display. Of course I'm not gonna be able to see all the 16 Million colors, but I will be able to see clearly the difference of the picture quality on the screen display. 16 Million color display screen will have more vivid, vibrant, and deep blacks pictures in the screen than 256 Thousand color display. That, I can see clearly the difference side by side. ;) I hope you understand now.

SE C510's SAR value is a lot higher than Nokia C5
C510 SAR:
Head: 1.36
Body: 0.93
This is the only spec C510 is higher than C5. LOL
Now, that's too high to some people. That's dangerous to me.

SE C510's transferring data over HSDPA is a lot slower than Nokia C5.
C510's maximum speed is only HSDPA 3.6 Mbit/sec.
C5's maximum speed is HSDPA 10.2 Mbit/s
The difference is staggering! C510 is really inferior in the majority of specs.
