C5 is one of the best phones ever. it combines the simple elegant design, great sound, high speed internet.
with nice camera. those specifications are amazing when they are in a classic phone.
really good phone and I recommend it to you all.

    @rakash. . . . .don't get me wrong man. But i agree with Niraj here. Symbian phone is much better that java. I know bcoz i've used both. Though symbian phone has virus prob but we r using pc, aren't we? Pc got virus too. But we r using it any way. Bcoz it full fills our all demand. Yes, u r right about c510's camera and sound system. I also agree with u these points that c510 is better than c5. But in total i think c5 is better. Only bcoz of its OS. U've 2 admit that symbian is way better that java. So i'll go for c5.

      Whatever you say For me C5 is far better than C510. if you want C510, buy it. You dont know value of the Gps and Smartphone... I will better buy it or some other smartphone.

          C510 beat c5 in everthing. But u know c5(9300rs) beat c510(8200rs) in price. And if u nokia owner than u get more profit than sony owner. Now market share more for nokia than sony

              I am worried that nokia c5 is not going to launch in India at all, just like 6730 and 5630.....nokia priority guy was saying that....:(

                Actually every .sis file you run in a symbian device whether it is themes or application it work as a part of the OS. So Symbian required a symbian signed file to be installed, to protect it from viruses.. The main source for virus are the default web browser and .sis files(cracked and unsigned files). This .sis files have full access to the whole system of the phone, they can also change home screen, work as a theme, work as a antivirus or also they could work as a virus.. Some .sis files can also change theme of the music player and they can bring unlimited new features to your phone if you have downloaded them from a trusted supplyer, eg: Ovi Store.
                A .sis file may always runs on your phone if your phone based on the installation.

                In java phones you can only run .jad or .jar files, these files have limited access to the phone internal system.. They can only effect when they are running.. Due to its limited access they are virus free..

                  dual led flash in c510 compare to single led flash
                  mega bass sound in c510 option compare to bass in c5
                  3g wap tv stream at 30fps in c510 not like 15fps
                  computer lan modem internet can be used on mobile also

                    Anonymous, 24 Apr 2010If you just copying music, video, pic then you should not w... moreyes c5 can do this for 2 or 3 months after that its need formating of os. every device for one particular use is always better than a device which perform multi function. overall in java application sony millions of miles ahead than nokia. therfore nokia switch to symbian bcoz he know that in java app. sony strong. s60 phone able to run java but not as efficent as sony. s60 os better but for proper running u need cpu of 1ghz and 256 ram. like vista os installiation require 512mb ram but for efficent use require 1 or 2 gb ram. so if u want to become just happy use vista on 512mb ram. otherwise use xp more user friendly. data usb modem is always better than phone modem

                        If you just copying music, video, pic then you should not worrying any virus at all for c5. virus only come for the .sis (executable), and you can format your phone to original setup by pressing 3 secret button at the same time in your symbian phone.

                        And if you planning to use the fast opera for java, fyi.... the C5 can run it even faster than your super-duper-sony-erricson.

                        In fact C5 can run anything that your java powered apps on sony erricson can do.

                            Here is a list what your sonny ericson can't do
                            1. Navigating with your phone with NO SIM CARD at all!!!
                            2. tight e-mail integration with the phone.
                            3. tight messaging apps with the phone.
                            4. tight social-enabled web site (facebook, twiter, etc)
                            5. very affordable PUSH e-mail + ALLWAYS on messaging apps (yahoo, gtalk, ovi) + ALWAYS updated facebook, twitter... all of that for only around US$4-5. (availability depend on contry)

                            You shouldn't shouting SE-SE-SE too much here. I understand it's a great phone, but C5 is really out of your phone league.

                              dear niraj as u know or not that no antivirus provide u 100percet saftey. Every antivirus compnay make virus which not detected by other company antivirus. I have original avast antivirus in my pc but i need to format my computer in every 4 months. Pc formating simple mobile os formating not simple.

                                So I'm planning to buy a licence for kaspersky antivirus for one year at 600 Rupees ( 15$) to make my phone virus free, and guess what, this antivirus will also work as a mobile tracker, so if your mobile will be lost, you will get a Gps based map which tell your phone's correct location.. It cool na. But if some one cant afford this, they can go for c510.

                                  sony c510 good featured pack handset at cost of 8200rs. Not wait for slow responsive mobile and virus problem in s60 is major concern when u copy like pictures, music files than virus definately enter into ur system file and block that. S60 is nice os but its virus friendly nature make it useless. U definately purchase c5 if u have mony to purchase original software and games. Music. C5 Is good looking new beautiful bride with prostituting nature. So ur marriage retain for 1 or 2 months. Always prefer a bride with indian nature like c510

                                    dear niraj ans. Simple c510 in current indian market. Google map and wisepilot is equivalent to Gps, document viewer like pdf , word, photo editor , video editor, web feeds, stereo speaker, voice changer, java application as wall paper. usb charging, no requirment of software cd to connect pc, multitasking and many more
