Shadow of the future, 28 Mar 2010Hey guys...i feel this nokia c5 is the best among its rival... moreAcc. to me,the major thing that is missing in C5 is the wi-fi connectivity.Nokia has really committed a blunder,in an otherwise great device.Build quality seemz exceptional,and so the other features.I feel wi-fi is a must in todays time.
Within 10k range,you can go for 5630 xpress music,of which c5 is the replica.5630 has got better features than c5,but rather lower build quality.you can also go for E63,which is now available at a street price of 8800-9200 only.It is very fast with all the available connectivity options.whereas,if you can stretch your budget to 15k,plethora of options are available for you such as N79,E71,E52 etc

News is in that this handset supports AVI (DivX not mentioned) and Flash video as per
europeDOTnokiaDOTcom/find-products/devices/nokia-c5-00/specifications
so much for so less........ Nokia pleaaaaaaaaaaase think of a slider phone (may Nokia C5i or Nokia C5 Slide) with a better camera and larger screen with same other specs for maybe with a more pricey tag...
i'll be glad to purchase it on the day of its debut in Mumbai!!!

Niraj, 28 Mar 2010Hey Guys, What is 3.5G ??dear, like 2g network used for voice call and on for fast intrnet speed on 2g network we used 2.5g (edge network) network.* likewise on 3g network used both for voice as well as video call and for fast intrnet speed on 3g network we can use 3.5g (hsdpa) network.

Wow!
C5 looks so smart and sleek, specially the warm grey colorured one is very good.
.
But the led flash is too small and I dont think it can provide sufficient light for taking picture more than the distance of 1 meter in low light condition. And loudspeakers are also not very big, so the sound will be not good loud.

Dear, Wi-fi available in many restaurants, hotels etc but within the region of that restaurants, hotels. So if u are paid guest of that hotel u definatelu use WI-fi of that hotel. if rent of such hotel is 1000rs per day. that means u lost 30000rs in a month. so 3G is costlier or Wi-Fi. (unlimited bsnl 3g use plan 2000 per month)

If u choose 3g phone, no need of wi-fi. And if u want 3g as well as 4g phone go for nokia c5 and if ur not nokia lover GO FOR SONY ERICSSON C510 OR YARI.

Hey guys...i feel this nokia c5 is the best among its rivals in the Rs.8k-10k range...``but still i'm not quite convinced about going for it...`i'll be buying a phone within Rs.10k in a few months time..`my preferences are good,fast and smooth performance,good quality camera(doesn't matter if resolution is low),bluetooth,gprs,edge connectivity(wi-fi if negotiable),efficient java technology,good sound quality and touchscreen if possible.....I like the c5 very much but still i prefer something better if possible.I can spend up to 15k on it(including accessories)...so what do you feel? Should i in for c5 or something else? Or should i wait a few more months for a better model?
