windows or androids are very high-end phones costing more than 20000/- at least. Symbian smartphones are really cheap in that sense. But why r u still bickering about that. C510 is definitely inferior than c5. U will know that if u use any nokia smartphones like 5800, 5530, 5230, n73, n79 etc. There r loads n loads of very useful softwares for them. Sadly c510 is a java phone & they support very, very few softwares. But, people like u would not stop arguing about their phones. And about SE engineers, they r not fools but infact, they dont use symbian platform due to some patent problem. Otherwise they will be more than happy if they can use symbian platform.
MY REQUEST TO EVERYBODY IS PLEASE STOP ARGUING WITH HIM BCOZ HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT IS SYMBIAN SMARTPHONE CAPABLE OF. DONT WASTE UR TIME & ENERGY. RATHER DISCUSS ABOUT OTHER THINGS. PLEASE IGNORE HIM!

Dear Rakesh! I'm a nokia fan but not a S.E. hater. C510 and C5 both are good phone, but your c510 is better than c5 only on camera features and may be camera clearity but overall C5 is far better.

C5 also have video editor in it..( bcoz all s60 has)
In c510 you have track music id features, but you cant download that track, by this feature.
Nokia has said that they will implement some of the features of Symbian^3 on their non touch s60 handset in future, in s^3 there is also option for track id music which you can download in your phone...
C510 is only better in camera features and maybe in clearity also..
But c5 is a overall great mixture of camera + music + smart phone..
C510 price is Rs. 8,900 and c5 is slightly more pricey @ Rs.9,100 (135 euro launching price in europe).

oh sh*t , it seems like somebody can not understand it , a smartphone is better than a java feature phone in the function , maybe u do not need the function , you like simple thing but you can not say the C510 is better than C5

C5 is an all round phone , C510 is just a camera phone , and camera on phone always suck , yes , i mean it , even 8 or 12 Mp camera , still suck and cannot be compared with a true camera .

Nokia c5 launching price will be 135 euro, means ~9,100 Indian rupees.
The price will certainly fell down by 8,500 INR after some months of its realising .
C5 is based on s60v3 fp2, so it will surely have built in accelerometer in it, means motion sensor games will able to play on it.
Yes your sony C510 had better camera features, but does it have stereo speakers.
Nokia C5 is combination of camera + music + smart phone.
But your c510 is only camera phone.

please for God's sake stop these type of arguments. Yes, I know SE c510 is a good phone but why r u bashing NOKIA. If u hav to say something then go to c510 blogzone. Main difference between these two is c5 is s60 ph where c510 is not. U can only feel the difference if u r using any symbian phone. Otherwise, there is no point in arguing. And last of all, c5 still not released in India and will only release in May, so we don't know what will be it's price or how will be it's performance! So how u can say that its price will be rs. 10000 to 11000/- . Please make this forum a constructive one like N5530 not a destructive one!

ALL these are 3rd party and even if u are not use pirated music cd and purchase original music cd your mobile cost goes to 1000000... and even more to full 16GB Memory card

the basic use of a mobile phone these days is to carry data on the go... mostly music
so if ur not using the rest of data on your laptop you are actually wasting it

2) addtional features
"install java software for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF from mobiles24.com"... why look for 3rd party when you can have something built in?
C510 has an advantage with Motion gaming - i like it!!!

3) Messaging
boy!!! C5 gives you all the options

4) Phonebook
i ll stress on the fact that this phone can handle everything on its own without depending on memory card for storing contacts - how's that??

5) C510 wins the video battle, but seriouly do you actually depend on video from a mobile phone???

6) GPS
ya ya ya... "google Map software installed in phone which is equivalent to GPS"... u like to depend on 3rd party things

7) nothing's better?? people make your decisions now

for me, i am awaiting C5's debut in India

Wow C5. Slim s60 phone. Light weight also.
Will surely sell like hot cakes once its released in India.
Personally i am satisfied with all the features it has except that the present 2.2' screen could hav been easily stretched to 2.4' considering the length of the phone. With 2.4' it could have matched with the likes of N73 and N82. But still, not a big issue. All other features are gonna rock considering the price tag which i hope could be around 10 K.
