AnonD-18235, 17 Aug 2011Hi I do have the same problem I am using TATADOCOCMO ser... morei'm using the old C5 that can play youtube videos directly from the browser, now it won't play that way anymore, i wonder why, maybe because its was getting a lots of complained from other users of much expensive phone that can't do the same with their phone. Now i need to use the standard video format not beta format to watch youtube videos, or i just click the desktop version for to play the video and now i also need to download the youtube apps to plays videos in mobile mode. If that is the way, then its should not be written in the specs that its a kind of phone that can plays the youtube videos, its should be taken out from the phone specs. There is no longer Nokia C series = funs phone but now it was like a E series = dumbs stupids phone. It should be if you want OFFICE PHONE buy E SERIES, if you want a FUNS SMARTPHONE buy C SERIES.

I bought a C5 on 6th Aug, the battery stays for max a day with less than 30 minutes usage/day. I am logged into 3G network but my other phone E63 battery lasts for 2-3 days in 3G. Is the battery weak in 3G or is it that my battery is faulty? Any one having battery probs??

the best. Good camera, good radio, good music player, can downloads almost every apps and games, can play almost every videos in the internet, good multitasking and a lots more things that will surprise those using this low profile Nokia smartphone, the true pocket computer.

u need not worry about its performance.phones r smart not by their looks but by their features/performance.in this sense c5.5mp beats all its competitors.

If c5, elm or the walkman w8. But as you've said that c5 has better performance than elm. About walkman w8, most android phones dont lasts a whole day,. So instead of chosing this, i'll go for this simple smartphone.

How is typing message on it?, keys ok for big fingers?, or you hit other keys fast typer?. does it have recently text list in it? Threaded messaging or normal inbox?, any light alerts for txt??

Omi, 16 Aug 2011I'm also confuse when you say that ELM has a better screen ... moreOmi what I want to say, is that you will hardly notice any difference when you will have a look at the display of both the phones, You are talking about Nokia N70's display, it no where stands against Elm's display... I said Elm's display is better than C5's coz I personally felt so and the main reason was Elm has excellent display under direct sunlight..
2:- The signal strength of both these devices are same but I think C5 has better coverage while your are on 3G network, and in battery backup Nokia Rockks...
And also C5 has a better internet browser than Elm and has faster internet speed, and C5 is more zippy than Elm coz C5 has 600Mhz cpu while Elm is clocked at 200-250Mhz....
