Is there any app so that I can view the names in missed call and sms notifications. I'm using youlu and it's showing name in incoming sms (though it would be great if it shows avatars along with name) but still I can't find anything for missed calls. And does this phone support compass?

I liked to restore my phone, an I don't want lose my applictions. How can I move them 2de Memory.

this phone is just great!! more valueable features it have
but i want to turn off camera sound..is it possible??

I update nokia c5 through phone(not pc) latest sw 101.003 version. But i make one mistake. When i update. My phones date and time will be not set exact rather (it is wrong i think it is 27-06-2012 is set that time) Can there comes problame in phone.

MP d man , 18 Jul 2012The new update is 1418kb but i can't update it, i don't kn... moretry another method to update. Type *#0000# then it will show your current software version. select options and click check for updates. If your version is already 101.003 then it will say no updates available.

OK it looks like there is a lot of confusion regarding the size of the update.
Guys when you install an update Over the Air (as in directly on you phone) the update only modifies the existing firmware.
Whereas when you install an update through the PC suite it installs the OS again...because there is no way update only the relevant parts.
I hope this clears it up.

Dears if you update from ur mobiles there is 149KB i think, but if you see from Nokia PC suite then it is 150 MB, i think there is problem from Nokia, then it is better to update from PC, and if you udated your mobile by itself, then again reinstal from PC

A warming wil be displayed when keeping high volume in music player. And profiles can be timed,which is present in latest asha series. These are the features i observed till now. It has been 2years since this mobile has been released. Its good that nokia is still releasing update's for this mobile. C5 is great. Nokia is greatest
