              So far this (C6-00) is concerned, the battery backup is OK. Maximum 2 days standby time with 3 to 4 hours talking per day. If you keep it in standby (OFFLINE MODE or a SIM with all incoming calls barred) it will last longer. I have not tested that extent.

              But the GPS reception is VERY POOR compared to N79 when both are kept outside the building just adjacent to each other. In this case, N79 shows the latitude and longitude, height above MSL, travelling speed, etc.

                heard this phone turns off whil surfing the net, even though battery level is good..............does anybody face this problem??????????????????

                            If you are in a area with varying or weak signal strength, then also your mobile will consume battery charge.

                            Disable all wireless options (Bluetooth, WiFi scanning, change packet data mode to 'when needed' instead of when available).

                            Try these. Or else go to Nokia care and get the battery replaced. Battery carry only 6 months warranty.

                                      I have purchased this phone since one month, i have not faced any problem till now.Battery backup is 3 days with internet and calls, 4 days with only calls, photo with 5MP is very good ( but lens is not of CARL ZIESS). Music is good, video (downloaded from youtube) is great. I update the software everytime through internet.Its very fast.
                                      Overall i am very much satisfiied.
                                      With Rs 13000/- This Mobile is worth. Minimum requirements for me in Mobile are 5MP Camera, Music player and Video during travelling,etc and Internet, Touch phone along with QWERTY keypad have satisfied me. No need to purchase higher price mobile when we have all minimum requirements at this price.
