to update a Nokia cell software is very easy...
Goto Nokia website (country specific).
Download Nokia Software Updater.
Install in PC.
connect your cell with datacable or bluetooth.
Run Nokia Software Updater in PC.
It will detect your cell and ask you for update.
then it will automatically download and update your cell firmware.
(Please take backup of your data)

Hi guys. I'm waiting for this phone, now I'm using a 5310 xm, and I have a problem. It's a t-mobile phone, and I downloaded an Internet using application, and it is not working, because of the phone. It is saying that there "application access set to not allowed". I tried to fix it from app. menu, but the "application access" one was blocked (different color from others, not selectable), so i dont know what to do. Is this when you do the jailbreak thing?? I don't even know what this is. Please help me, What I would really appreciate is an answer to anvar_orlean@mail.ru please, and thank you. I just immigrated to US, and the cell phone system is so stupid in here. I will be thanking you till the day I die.

i've got it and it works well and you can customize your home page as much as you like. Internet is really fast and several email widgets can be set up which is pretty cool.. you can choose to type with the qwerty keyboard or the normal type of keys on the touch screen.
However sometimes the touch screen is a bit not user friendly but over all i think its a really good phone

yes nokia has released a new firmware for c6 and removed the bugs before it gets launched in india so now we can hope a pre release of nokia c6 in india means around mid sep...coz the problem due to which it was delayed has been solved...so hope we get this in stores soon....

Nokia delaying release of this model due to some bugs in UI...
Now major bugs has been removed and firmwares have been updated and ready for release in India...

5800 has much better sound quality than this. The loudspeaker of c6 is kinda low but louder than 5230.

Msg detail also shows 97 KB... Sent the msg.... But receipient got MMS of only 19 KB file... How it come..?? Any idea?? If it is not a soft problem...then what is it?? Do you face the same thing..?? Plz help me ...

these bloddy nokia people have launched the phone in pakistan then in bangladesh and who can imagine now it's also available in nepal....
keep waiting for it as nokia has gone crazy when it comes to it's launch in india...!!

Now Nokia C6 will be released in September/October is final.
Nokia is correcting softwares bugs and updating firmware of Nokia C6 prior to release in India against competetion of Sony Erricson Xperia X10 Mini & X10 Mini Pro, Samsung Wave...
Its also clears that Nokia will release C1, C2, C3 first and then after C6 will be released.
