cant exactly tell why...but i am having a feeling that 5800 is a better phone than C6.C6 has no graphics accelerator, no stylus(probably),trash headphones,etc...anyone else having the same feeling ?? :)

But agree if Nokia wants then they can easily give some features of s^3 in this phone, eg: multiple home page, better RAM management etc..

            I know, there wont be any metal parts but its very important whih kind of plastics they will using for it!

            Like the n900..its of plastics but its very very solid!
            My Samsung Jet has really bad build quality with cheap plastics and u must imagine there are only also cheap apps (java apps ) and 90% of them are unuseless!

            I have bought the Jet only because of divx support!
            Can nokia play divx over applications or something like that ?

                        the 5800XM have 256MB NAND flash, the OS is around 170MB, that's leaves a 80MB free memory.

                        The C6 have 512MB NAND flash, and the same OS (but with more software). the OS + software is around 260MB (new ovi maps, new nokia messaging software), thus leaving around 240MB free memory.

                        The N8 have 512MB NAND flash, and the OS is around 380MB, thus making it have a free memory around 130MB.

                            Nokia want to let user of S60v5 edition (a.k.a symbian^1) upgrade to their symbian^3 OS, than 5800 and N97 (32gb) can't upgrade to symbian^3 OS, but the C6 (or N97mini (8gb?) **MIGHT** be able to upgrade to symbian^3.

                            **REASON**
                            Symbian^3 use around 377MB (see http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/N8/). With 256MB (not 80MB?) memory on 5800, the Symbian^3 can't be installed to 5800XM. But C6 with 512MB (not200mb(same as N8 16GB) have enough NAND memory for symbian^3.

                            but... that's **IF** nokia wanted to....hmmm maybe they wont cos N8 need to sold world wide YEZZZZAAAA

                              so, you might need to wait for a couple more week. to be honest with you. i'm waiting for this phone too. and i really want this phone badly that make me come to this page of gsm arena every day :(

                              this phone will be great. if you want to know about the speed, ask your friend that have N97mini. it should have the same speed as the N97mini because it have the same amount of RAM and cpu speeds.

                              the only different with N97mini is the price, and the lack of TV-out and 8 GB internal storage. The C6 use the microSD card whereas N97mini use 8GB internal storage + microSD card.

                                hello every one,
                                well am thinking of a good phone 2 buy...
                                some one suggested me this and told me that it is newly released....
                                i have gone through its features and everything...and i was shocked my seeing its rate... such good features at low price....i was happy 4r that moment...
                                but i thought it is a new phone and i dnt know abt its performance....how could i afford it with out knowing its performance.......
                                so plz can any one tell me abt this phone..
                                and advantages affording it..... as a student i do a lot of typing... so this QWERTY suits me?????

                                    compare 5800 and C6? about music, seems that topic already mention before... but its okay to explain it once again..

                                    5800 vs C6
                                    performance = same both CPU 434mHz

                                    music quality = 5800
                                    5800 : it's equipped with audio chip that can improve quality of music significantly + stereo speaker = TOP MUSIC PHONE
                                    C6 : just have 1 loud mono speaker without chip

                                    camera = C6
                                    5800 : just have 3.15MP CZ+dual LED even with CZ optic, picture result wont go too far from without optic.. for reference why dont you look at some of review of other phone like N97
                                    C6 : have 5MP+single LED.. my principle larger resolution = better pic.. i just make sure not to photoing at dark place/night.. and the result shall be good..

                                    Memory = C6
                                    5800 : 81MB internal and 8MB external
                                    C6 : 240MB internal and 2MB external
                                    NT : for me internal memory still better than MCS because MCS can be upgraded thru buying other higher capacity but internal cant.. and internal contain all kind of system that being used by the phone.. if internal memory too small when you want to store phone number,SMS msg, and that memory almost full.. your speed and performance will drop..

                                    Feature = depend
                                    5800 : have TV out
                                    C6 : have qwerty keyboard, social network supported(FB,twit,etc)
                                    NT : for me as the heavy texter, i dont care if there's TV or not coz i'm still college student, i can watch TV at home with better resolution than at this little phone.. what i want just i want to have "fun" with touchscreen but still can chatting and typing fast with keyboard.. but it depends of everyone taste..

                                    Packages : 5800
                                    5800 : full set package of 5800 included 2 stylus(1 in and 1 addition), TV cable, car stand, etc
                                    C6 : just handset, cheap headset, cable data, charger.. what a pity..

                                    so, everything depend on every1 taste.. aim 5800 for music or C6 for heavy chatter but also want touchscreen for browsing..

                                      the features i need r- best muzic quality, best camera quality, gud touch interface, big screen, wifi, best for gaming, high speed web browzing, support all apps, nt hanged too much, gud battery backup...
                                      PLZZ GIVE ME SOME ADVICE... WHICH ONE HAS GOT ALL THE ABVE QUALITIES...?? Give ur brief advices...
                                      IZ D 5800 ND 5530 GOT THE SAME SPEAKER LOUDNESS, CAMERA QUALITY, ND MUZIC QUALITY?

                                        for me, i want phone that can stand for long time so i can chatting and browsing more often and charge rarely...
