MONTY, 17 May 2010Dude bt N8 iz far away frm my budget, my budget iz bw 10k-1... more're you sure 5530? trully i impressed with its design.. but no 3G, no GPS( but can covered with garmin), small screen just 2.9 i think.. just pick C6 big screen + keyboard make typing more fun than touch screen...

Nokia 5530 is better than nokia 5800? No..That's not the case..When Nokia 5530 was launched it had a newer software version because of which it's CPU was clocked at 434MHz, it had kinetic scrolling and a better home screen..At that time (without the firmware upgrade) nokia 5800 was clocked at 369 MHz frequency.
But after the firmware upgrade, even the Nokia 5800 has the same CPU clock frequency and other software features. Infact there has been another firmware upgrade on top of that for the nokia 5800 which improved upon the speed of the phone in general and introduced kinetic scrolling in the main menus.. This firmware to my knowledge has not yet come for the Nokia 5530.
Besides that, if you look at the specs only, nokia 5800 - 3.2 inch screen and nokia 5530 3.0 inch screen. Doesn't sound too big a difference. I myself wanted to buy the Nokia 5530 and so went to check out the phone in a showroom.. And when i saw the Nokia 5530 i found that the 0.2 inch difference is actually quite big. Nokia 5530 just doesn't have big enough screen to view videos on.. Also, the external speaker volume of the Nokia 5800 is much better than Nokia 5530.. Plus, nokia is still offering free Sennheiser headphones which are pretty good. Memory Card of 8GB in Nokia 5800 vs 4GB in 5530.
On top of all this, nokia 5530 not having 3G and a difference of just 2k INR makes the Nokia 5800 a steal.. A much better phone than nokia 5530.. 1 thing that I really like about the nokia 5530 is it's very handy and sleek.. Fits more naturally in the hand than nokia 5800.. That's the only thing that is better in nokia 5530..

MONTY, 17 May 2010Dude bt N8 iz far away frm my budget, my budget iz bw 10k-1... moreall i can say.. there's no such a phone like that.. for me i will aim for C6 instead of 5800.. coz i'm still college student, with my minim budget i wont aim top level phone like N8 or whatever..
for camera, seems like C6 just have single LED.. i just have to make sure i dont take any picture at dark place/night so everything will be alright.. for music, i will cover it with another vendor earphone/headphone so even it sounds terrible with good earphone at least you can get score 7.5/10...
all i want just qwerty+touch screen coz i like typing but i often browising and need big screen..

MONTY, 17 May 2010Dude bt N8 iz far away frm my budget, my budget iz bw 10k-1... moreu never get a phone at 10-14k which has good camera as well as high quality music capability, so consider only one thing, as for my opinion take C6... it's all feature is good, may be it's music quality isn't good... it doesn't mean it's bad (use high quality headphone for better music, nokia don't give u a class headphone with C6) !!!

When is this phone coming onto the Kenyan market.I can hardly wait gor it to arrive.Seems alot like the hot N97 but cheaper.Noki has done a great job with this one.I can tell without even seeing it.Just from the review

i wz comparing both d abve ph nd d result wz dat most ppl recommed 5530... in comprsn wid 5800. talkng abt hangng probm, den most of d phs of nokia has hangng probm...like n73, n70, n72... nd many more.. so dis iz a commen problm nd cn b bearable... bt on d othr hand m also confusd bw c6 nd 5530... god plz help me... which ph is d perfect phone (gud muzic quality, gud camera, big touch screen, wifi, best gaming features ..etc...)

i hope C6 wont as same as 5530 in my country since new released phone always have somekind of bugs or whatever it named...

both of them (5800&C6) have any minus..
5800 has good quality music coz of chip(8.5/10) and poor camera(6/10) but have dual LED&CZ
C6 has poor quality music coz no chip and mono (5/10) and nice camera (7.5/10) coz 5MP but no CZ and single LED..
since both of them have their advantages.. why dont you think twice.. there's no perfect phone for mid level phone...
if you aim perfect function phone in all aspect of you needs aim for top level, you wont dissatisfied...

c6 is like a strip down version of n97.why is c6 weight the same as n97, 150g??
c6 smaller,batt on 1200mAH,no tv-out,cmos 5mp,
hopefully C6 qwerty pad is better since its same weight as n97 but hv less hardware in it.

5530 iz cheap, stylish, gud muzic, nd very cheap... i.e of 10k
nd on d othr hand... dis c6 got 5 M.P camera, 3G, gps, 3.2' screen...
nd cost 13k
so cn nebuddy tel me which ph shud i buy...? ?
