Oh, my goodness! Nokia still uses the old and slow 434MHz processor in C6. This is a suicidal move.

Plasticky, Plastic rules Nokia all the way last 5 years most high end cells are made in china and plastic. Htc google Se and sam are far ahead in body made. from first touch 5800 to C6 all have outer plastic can say cheap and chinese made as halllmark.
Universal conclusion after through use outer becomes scratched and dimmer, what ever the inner hardware, outer appearance is degradable. Nokia come out of this Myth

now i get confused .. because after Q3 and S ^ 3 is launched there will be no S ^ 1 (S60) in market and after the new year or Q1/Q2 2011 will be launched in S ^ 4 ... and most likely the price of this phone will really fall ...

should i wait till launched S^4 next year/buy this phone... argghh...

Rajitt, 18 Apr 2010So is it possible to overclock thie C6 processor to say, 60... moreHi... It wont fry the battery much. But I think you can expect a 10-20 percent reduction in battery life.. And I believe that you can replace the stock battery with a 1500 mAh battery but it has to be of the same size as that of the original one. It may add to the weight though...

                                    And replying to another comment...
They overclock the cpu with software. Remember 5800 was overclocked to 434 Mhz with a firmware update. It is easier to overclock N900 because it uses a linux kernel in Maemo 5. When symbain^3 is released, you will see a lot of overclocked devices as symbian^3 is open source whereas symbian^1 (s60 v5) is closed. But a lot depends upon the capability if the CPU. There exists a point in which the performance of the device degrades to a point where the overheating and low battery life will cause more annoyances eventhough the CPU is much faster. Thats why it is not recommended to do overclocking other than the one which is provided by Nokia itself.

Although I love Nokia phones, I would have loved to see a 600 Mhz cpu with 256 MB RAM in the C6. Heard from somewhere that nearly 80 MB of the RAM is available for the usage of the user. So unless you are a heavy user, you wont find major problems...

                                    ^_^
