stan, 21 Feb 2012i have read all the negative comments which regards to this... moreI agree itz not a bad phone... I hv a Nokia C6 (purs. july 2011). At the begning i had a lots of problem mainly hanging, automatically, large sounds, memory full,etc... but for the past 3mths my functioning of the phone is totally normal M not facing any of these prob now,the only thing i did was deleted some anti virus softwr wc i had installed earlier...
right now m Happy with da functioning and prformance of my C6

I bought Device before 3 months and I am not Happy with Device as I am not able to do Software Update on it and also it dont have wifi and sembian software makes device interface look dull and also device freez and hangs a lot...Resale value is also not good as Nokia have stopped manufacturing it....Pls dont buy this

I got my C6 a year ago.It was good at the begainning to have a smart phone.But as time passed im getting annoyed with this cell.
1.Battery power doesn't last if you use continuously.
2.Some times slow proformance to open applications.
3.Just awful-disable to see in sunny day light.
4.Playing video is nuisance.

yup its normal in a smartphone that hangs . battery issue etc.. battery issue depends on how you use it. If it is a 3g and you browse its normal that the battery drains fast try to switch in gsm mode battery last and wont heat up but its slows on browsing. Heat up issue on battery is normal becoz 3g uses processor. all the problem that u are experiencing are very normal in nokia that has an OS or even in other brands that supports OS. USE IT DONT ABUSED IT

i have read all the negative comments which regards to this phone nokia c6 i have a definite answers regarding on your problems to clear your mind and to feed you more about this unit...
1. touch problem- its a resistive phone so its normally that i applies force when you press it because it is a resistive unlike capacitive phone u only use heat on you body to move it so its very light in touch no need to use force so its normal :)
2.battery- because it do have an OS and it is a smart phone definately its normal that its battery life wont last long and last up to 1 to 2 days only and it is only defending on how you use it ur using 3g browsing normally it would last half day or 3 to 5 hours only and its normal that it heats battery because 3g is using processor so again thats normal
3.hang problems- in this case its too normal that a phone with an os always hanging and also depends on the procesor or the application if tis too many open application or too many installed application its normally sometimes hanging because again it use a processor it depends on hte user how to handle it or how the user use it
4-camera quality 5mp is a good camera quality although if you compare it in a carl seize camera defenitely it would have some differences because carl seize has a special lens w/c c6 dont have so dont compare it to a carl seize because it is definately different again its too normal for the quality of the camera
5 c6 supports
-video there a many application that can be downloaded that can open many video formats like divx player supports avi format .smart movie supports 3gp avi .core player supports all video formats 3gp 3gpp avi mp4 avc etc. so dont panic when some videos cannot be played try to explore sometimes
6. memory full problems - i have that problem also that i discovered that this problems is caused by installing anti virus called netqin etc. that installed in phone memory i suggest dont use anti virus as much as possible
7 automatic restarting - this resolves simply by updating ur firmware using wifi or nokia pc suit because it fixes or enhancing major problems on your phone such as restarting,hang,music player not opening, etc so again dont panic its a smart phone and it is also based on my experience
so i think nokia c6 is not bad at all base on your comments all the problems may resolve and these problems are normal in smart phones even on my android phone it happens and i take it as a normal problem because i choose to use smart phone if u dont want to experience these problems better to suggest not to use any smart phones all smart phones do have operating system even on other brands and also it is also based on how u use the phone it will last if u carefully use it and not abuse it... thanks a lot

This phone sucks...due to its design and features supported facilities....
I bought it and this is a waste of money ....
Due 2 its thickness,heavy design,and not so friendly nature...

hey guys i m using dis phone for da past 1 yr i too usd to get hanging nd all kinds of prblms software related everything it reallly suckd ma day but guys remember u can flash it with custom firmwares i did it nd i use it nowwww likeee is dat ma old dumb phone dat awsum it is now , awsum performance no lagging at allll 60 to 65mb ram freee for fasttt usage nd its battery stays 1 nd a half day without any prblm nd da best part is no othr nokia phone has such a gud qwerty with touch at dis rate buy it but gottta take sum risk nd pain to gain wat u want frm it
