Try using the phone on silent, alerts should be disabled.

Mahi, 22 Jul 2011Can anybody tell me how to stop the camera sound of c6 01?it cant be stopped. all new nokia phones are with a camera sound for security purposes. why do you want to switch it off anyway? :P

My c6 01 is showing some problems. It is getting hang sometimes. It is also very poor in receiving signals.

Best High end Nokia smart phone for college/high school goers...beats the C6-00 by a mile,battery might cause problems at start...but after a month gets alright................if you are buying a phone let it be C6-01 or N8...(C7 is not worth it.)Only other problem is fixed focus camera...photos look a bit blurry when zoomed to the fullest.And games are needed to be douwnloaded for it,i have around 80 good games....a total entertainment phone with ovi unlimited music downloads...just great!!

nokia is a world-wide company. at first cells were made in finland, than hungary, now in china. but all the makers are same in other place. made by nokia which has been created from china is original. guys, now u can't get any nokia cell phone from finland or hungary, yeah u only can get which were created in some years ago.

Beware of Nokia c6-01 now in market its available in Chinese one with the same design and look only difference in software OS and minimum in hardware
