I was very interested in c7, till I read about the "purple tint". Is it a widespread problem? I'll probably wait for symbian anna to arrive for c7, n make decision then. Thanks for the advice!

Just can't decide between c6,... moreC7 and C6-01 have almost the same price. C7 has many advantages over C6-01:
1. 3.5 inches display
2. 8 GB internal storage
3. FM transmitter
4. Active noise cancellation
5. 1200 mAh battery which lasts for 2 days with average use
C6-01's battery usually doesn't last more than a day.
It has a ClearBlack display, yes, but taking into account phone's drawbacks, it's not a good buy considering its price.

hi frinz.... this is one of the best product from nokia....... only best advantage of n8 is hdmi.......just you compare nokia n8 vs c6-01 you c.an't find any difference...... compare means operate...... always use this wesite www.n8fanclub.com.....

The first test was pretty much real-world usage - 10 minutes talk time, 40 minutes of music playback (through the loudspealer), 10 photos, 30 minutes of web browsing (mixed Wi-Fi and 3G usage) and another 30 minutes of general tinkering. The Bluetooth was on for 8 hours (but not connected) and Gmail's Exchange ActiveSync account set to sync every 4 hours.
We decided we pushed it too hard so we conducted another test - we spent 50 minutes talking on the phone, took 10 photos and left the Bluetooth on for 3 hours (again, not connected). ActiveSync was off too. Within 24 hours, the Nokia C6-01 ran out of juice."

Also N8 being nokia's flagship model there will lots of games available supporting it in the next 1 year or more.... so you can be assured of plenty of hours of gaming on c6-01 too....
I played a few games on c6 and was suprised to see none of the games lagging....
some of the games like angry birds used to lag on my LG P500...but on c6 they are too zippy....

hey im getting very bad battery backup from this phone while using apps or for browsing, it can run continuously only for 4 hours for those activities.....
otherwise if i dont fiddle much with my phone it runs easily for 24 hours.....
Is this normal...or is something wrong with my phone...????
