sam: best to worst - super AMOLED (Samsung only), AMOLED, OLED, LCD. TFT is type of LCD. Of course matters who made it, for example - HTC Desire (AMOLED) have serious problens with grey color, it is showing it little pinkish, and IMO classic TFT display is better...

Before Taking any picture the lens focuses on the picture to keep it in focus. its a new technology

Google maps has also ... moreyou just need to go into the maps settings and set it to offline. it then wont ask yoou to connect.you can also download any map you wish for worldwide in advance of travelling so you never need the data connection. just make sure you uncheck agps and just use gps

Still it brings forward the stupid pop-up with the question about connecting to the server, which completely covers the map. Anyway, there are more other things on Symbian which make your life harder.I'm sorry but Nokia should look a bit at iPhone 4, Samsung Galaxy S for getting ideas for a really good interface.
Myself I will not buy a Nokia again.

I'm using it for internet, chat, music, and the battery can still up for 2-3 days. This is simply the best phone I've ever had. But now I'm thinking about changing my phone to this C6-01 for it's (most) affordable Symbian^3 OS...

I'm not happy even with the pictures I make with my Nikon D80, so please don't mention me any crappy fixed focus phone camera, whatever the MPix. What I wanted fron Nokia was reliable free GPS navigation, since I knew I cannot expect performance, but Nokia did not deliver even that.

Google maps has also "life long free navigation". Ovi Maps also need connection to the server when abroad, so it's as "free" as Google maps. I used the X6 as a GPS over the weekend and it was quite annoying, was often asking to connect to the server, no matter what you select in response yes or no. I notice that very often need a phone reboot, before you can get a GPS sattelites lock.
I bought the X6 just for the "free GPS" feature because I travel abroad often, but since the roaming cost for data are now 2 Euro/MBit, and the OVI maps still downloads data, so I pay the 2 Euro, I can use the Google maps on my Galaxy S better.

can you help me to know the battery backup of this mobile C6-01. How much time it is giving backup when playing music.
Like Nokia 5800 xpress music gives 35hrs music playback time.
Can you tell me also, the backup when browsing the internet & the browsing speed it is giving....whoever has used this phone means hands on review....

Here is for posting opinions about the C6-01. Why are you comparing the C6-01 to the Galaxy S, Desire, or iPhone4 which cost like 3X-4X more than the C6-01? Why not comparing it to the Galaxy 3/5 or the tattoo?
If you're talking about the N8-00, it's cheaper than the phones you mentioned. It also comes with a large 1/1.83" 12MP sensor; can those phones' cameras be even compared? All current Nokia phones w/ GPS also comes with free lifetime online/offline navigation; can you say the same for the other phones? Please be civilized. If you're working for other phone companies, this is totally not cool! I rather use a phone from company that have better moral principles. Not from a company that would go as low as sending its people to trash talking other brand. BTW, not everyone wants to be under Apple/Google control.
