luis, 03 Mar 2012Hey dude, what version of Symbian is your C6-01 running??? ... morehi! were you able to use the notification for nokia belle.. befor i can view the message on set of the notification. but now on belle i cant view it. i can only see 1 message recievce. not like before i can see the message.

upgrade to Belle. C6-01 works very well. Faster.very nice and comfortable interface.but the themes are lost.

In my experience i think that the symbian Anna is more comfortable than symbian belle..,

hey luis my current os is s^3 on mah c6-01 nd i hav aske in nokia care dat if i upgrade mah fone 2 belle den vil i b able 2 downgrade it in future nd d rply was "No" so im totally confuse dat os can b degraded or nt pls help me . . . .

I found only one proble with belle update in my c6-01. touch input volume key fuctionality is not available in video player.i'm using side button to volume change.previously in anna update touch input volume control is available.i'm very dissappointed after using video player.

hey any body using internet on pc via mobile(c6-01)?
how much get speed?
i'm using via my phone on pc it's show speed only 460.8kbps while i m use 3g connection. but in phone capacity (in specification ) is 10.2mbps and 2mbps.
why i m not get that speed? plz any one solve my problem.

I never got Anna for my phone but after 2 weeks from the update I can tell you it has been great. My phone has rebooted just twice but I've never experienced major problems. Touchscreen can be a little bit more sensitive at times but that's it.
The only way to get an older OS once you've updated is if you hack your phone (not recommended, it'll avoid the warranty and I recommend it only for people who have hacked Symbian before) or if you take it to a Nokia center and ask them for an OS downgrade. If warranty has expired they may charge some money for the downgrade, but it shouldn't be much. Anyway I think you won't regret if you update to Belle, I haven't lost any previous function but I've received some improvements and a better UI

vinod, 02 Mar 2012Thanks dude, I have updated to anna when it was available n... moreBTW: yeah, you may have to reinstall most of your previously downloaded apps for your C6-01 because some S^3/Anna apps aren't compatible with Belle. But I haven't had any trouble finding any app I had on S^3 for my Belle phone.

I haven't tried another videocall software like Fring but I may give it a try later, I'm not that interested in videocalls anyway but there are some other interesting things why I recommend Belle update:
-Improved messsage editor
-Improved home screens with more eye candy widgets but comparable speed to S^3/Anna
-Updated apps (Maps, store, WEB browser)
-Improved main camera, it now records @30FPS on 720p (it previously recorded @25FPS on 720p)
-Re organized main menu structure, no sub menus so you'll have every app directly on the main menu, I currently have almost 50 app icons on my main menu, but I'm still able to creat folders so it won't be a pain to search for some app, you can always trust on the search App to easily find anything. You can't create folders inside another folder, though.
As I mentioned before, battery life hasn't improved. I have to charge my phone every night but I listen to music/internet radio an hour per day, connect another half an hour to the web browser, 30 minutes playing games, 30 minutes of calls and a couple text messages so I don't mind charging it every 24 hours. I'm aware if I only use the phone for calls/SMS battery would last twice the time and many other smartphones offer comparable performance.

Hello people!
My cousin has C6-01 and he is very happy to have it. I planned to buy it too however a the last moment I was informed by a friend about Nokia 603 and I searched about it on the same website and by just paying AED 26 extra, I got 603 and it is awesome and fast. camera is only 5mp and it comes without front cam and people think it is the only big reason to ignore it. it is really good one to choose... so guys who bought it already then you have an awesome phone with you but for those who want to buy now then go for 603 after comparing it with C6-01. just to let you know (I do not for a store which sells nokia 603 nor any friend of mine. and trust me I am not linked to nokia too....) it is just an advise, so ignore it or accept it. all up to you.

Hey guys i personally don't own a nokia c6-01 yet...however i wud like 2 buy it...bt b4 i do i wud like 2 know abt da "anna" and "bella" every1's takin abt here...r dey like software updates u usually update from ur phone...if so den how is it possible 2 downgrad it..??
