i'm loving my nokia c6-01 for 8 months now.
it is so handy compared to the huge nokia n8 and 5800.
the 8mp camera is quite impressive as well!

just activate the power saving mode..battery life will be ok! btw good phone!

@dips1988, Fsecure is a complete mobile security solution. which has antivirus, firewall, antitheft protection and privacy controle.
just download fecure mobile security by google searching and download it into your device (on phone).
or, download f secure mobile security on your pc and then by using nokia pc suite or nokia suite transfer it to your device or by double clickin the application file directly install on your device. dworry nokia pc suite or nokia suite which you want to use as a medium , they both are free.

Guys,this is superb smartphone ever by nokia.........
i personally use this & i fully satisfied with this. The screen is super ie AMOLED ..touch is very sensitive.Every thing is too good ..I suggest u to definitely go for this phone..........
If u know how to use smartphone then i gurranty that u never face any problem regarding this set...Ok then best of luck

What's about it's battery backup & its make? Y... moreamazing phone......cute little and stylish.
I love every feature of thia phone...hd games runs smoothly on it,can play avi format hd movies without any third party software,good range of third party apps,amazing camera for partying and hanging ot with freinds,tv out support which i think no other android phone provides,good battery backup(on heavy usage like listening music,downloading some movie and browsing net simultaneously it lasted 8 hours and if u use it for simply call purpose and little bit of movie then you can manage 1 and half day easily) and don't forget its secondary camera which can actually make video calls(not like android crap which can make only skype calls)...i love the CBD display its amzing...looking forward to next upgrade to belle soon(great service by nokia....it keeps supporting older phone with new softwares on regular period and not like android where u have to throw your phone and buy new one for updated os)

Now I am going to write all the truth about nokia c6-01 which I have experienced.
1.make over - cosider nokia c7 with more thickness and convert its curve surface to rectangle you will get nokia c6-01. that means this phone is heavy. it has a stainless steel back battery cover.
2.battery - its battery is bl-5ct (1050mah)which is the worst thing nokia has done with this phone. it gives 1.5 days of normal back up. but if you start power saving mode you will found almost 3 days of back up. power saving mode is inbuild. that means you dont need any application for this purpose.
3.display - the most awesome feature of this phone is its display (3.2"). it is crystal clear and only high class of phone over than budget of 25000 can not also be compare with its display and response time is very fast. it has three home screens where you can put your favourite wigets, application icon etc. its display will make your image alive. and in february nokia will release nokia belle update for all the s^3 phones, which has 6 home screens with android like user interface where you can put your notes, and a dragging task menu, small vedio player widget, and also many other things.
4.application support - I am giving the best well known applications name which can be install on this phone. SPB mobile shell 3d, spb slide unlock, kaspersky, f secure, norton, netquin mobile security, camera pro, youtube downloader and player with high quality display, quick office, picsel smart office( both with editor), adobe reader, win rar, smart movie player, xplore file manager and many others. you can find all this applications with complete license from nokiavnn.com. some application can not be install without hacking your phone. but dont worry the hacking can also be done on your phone, there is no need for any computer just go to nokiavnn.com there is written how to hack s^3 device with dr web antivirus, umu mobile security, norton etc. after hacking, your field of application will be unlimited. it can also support some others applications which cant be supported by other symbian devices.
5.memory- storage phone memory is 500mb with a free micro sd card of 2gb. it has ram of 256mb. I have installed almost 83 applications with hd games like nfs, adrline, avatar. i have licensed netquin mobile security which always process in background and also there are many applications like spb slide unlock, nokia bubbles, nokia sleeping screen, spb mobile shell 3.7 which start with starting the phone, with all of this running application it consume only 120 mb of ram that means there is also 136 mb of free ram.
6. vedio- like its display another great feature is its vedio playing and recording quality. first playing- it can play mp4, avi, wmv, flv and almost all formats with the resolution of 1280*720 maximum. but it cant play more than 1280*720 that mens it cant play 1920*1080 vedios. but the vedio playing quality is bumper. you can easily back or forward with stunning quality of vedio. recording- it can record vedios of 1280*720 with 25fps but camera pro application can make it 30 fps with stereo quality sound that is like recording with a 15000 rs handicam with also 2x zoom support. 1 second of a vedio consume 1 mb and sometime more than 1 mb.
7. photo- you know that it has a fixed focus camera. so when you zoom the photo you will find that it has sharpness. but there is also a trick. normally its 8 mpix camera provide 1.2 mb of a photo but with camera pro application you can get a photo to 7.5mb with a little sharpness when you will zoom the photo. for viewing thre is an apllication photo viewer which will give your photo gallery a 3d look which is awesome in look.
8.music - its music player library will make you unconscious by its 3d interface which is inbuilt and also the sound quality is also so good that it can make some big budgets phone to surrender. there is an application ttpod with which - sound qualty, looks, visualisation, many skis like wmp 11/sony/android become bumper.
9.internet- i am using aircel gprs that mens 2g service. it gives 25 to 37 kb/second of speed on my computer and nearly 25-27 and sometime 35 kb/second on it. And with tata docomo 3g it has provided 186-222kb/second of speed on it (i have never tried 3g on computer). and also you can chat live on facebook, gmail or on any network by nimbuzz, ovi chat etc.
10. there is also many applications with which you can divert your sms on other number, block unwanted calls by making white list, black list, there is also a free fsecure anti theft protection.

What's about it's battery backup & its make? You didn't mentioned about it. Plz tell about every features you are experiencing with it. No one wants to pay blindly on it. And some people who are using it are regretting a lot on its inadequacy.

I am using nokia c6-01 from 5 months. I have found no problem with this phone. The internet is very fast and downloading also. It hanged only one time because of loding two antivirus at one one time. there are some faulty pieces but for that reason we can not say that this is a bad phone.
And someone, who are saying that android is better. Try to find out a android phone with this kind of feature within Rs.13000. And who are saying that there is not so much applications for nokia symbian^3. Just go to nokiavnn.com and then you will found the truth.
Comarison with android flash player and nokia flash lite. I am telling the truth now, it is obvious that flash player will give stunning vedio quality but it needs a faster internet connection, which only can be achieved by 3g or wifi which is very much costly and always can not be easy to afford. with 2g or gprs it is impossible to see a buffering free vedio with android flash player. For that reason nokia has provided flash lite which will show buffering free vedios on slow connections like 2g or gprs and also consume less batter power.
one biggest fault of nokia is that it has provided c6-01,c7,nokia 700 etc with fixed focus camera instead of android who always provide auto focus camera. for that reason the picture quality of this nokia phones is not better than android phones but not bad also. and also it has fulfill its faults with other features like a stunning display with fastest touch response user interface and continuous software update to make this phones bumper.
I have completely utilised my money by buying nokia c6-01.

Its not good it catches the virus and hanged I went many times nokia centre.
