AnonD-22351, 03 Dec 2011Thanx for your reply dear.. is it mandatory to format the p... moreo dude its not mandatory to format the phone after every update, but if ur phone become slow then it is recommended...dictionary n calculator will b there but some softwares istalled in mass memory may b deleted if backup is not been taken..
For back up
1.open nokia suit in ur laptop then connect ur phone to laptop, then go to tools then backup.
Or
2.open ur file manager there is backup

One more thing my cell is fast after updating to Anna But only problem is that bit slow while i try to open MENU:-) AND HOW TO TAKE BACKUP AND AFTER TAKING BACKUP HOW TO RESTORE:-) THANX IN ADVANCE

But before doing this u hv to take bakup of ur phones contents to save ur precious data....try this n best of luck...........

R u having the same issue in your c7:-)

Just i want to know... moreWell, not that we can do it, but I'm sure if you take it to a Service center, they can do a hard reset - format the phone and install the original SW - the Symbian^3. It's just that that feature has not been provided at the user level.
