why, 29 Mar 2011yes i'm from laguna...maybe it's true..maybe not..i don't h... moreyep thanks...btw, if you're sim compartment is slightly defective and if i'm right that you're the one who posted that the menu key is not working after updating together with those lines seen on lighter-colored pics(ovi store loading), you should bring your phone to NCC asap as you deserve
to have a hassle-free phone as you've paid as much as we did.I'm sure you'll get a replacement if all of these are indeed present on your unit.Good luck bro..waiting for your feedback.Good day.

john, 28 Mar 2011tried it already bro..no streaking lines or whatsoever. bri... moreyes i'm from laguna...maybe it's true..maybe not..i don't have that purple tint issue with my c7 though..i'm lucky enough (even though my c7's sim compartment is somewhat defective)...to picked the good one..i'm waiting for nokia's reply...don't worry dude i'll keep you posted..

hello,,, just buy C7 week ago(22 march)
this phone is shallow in the first sight.
but there is many advntges after that,,,
simplysize to make us adapt.
mine is made in china, and there is no purple tint issue. hope f4.
iam frm indonesia, but the soft is v012.003. why not udated yet...weh
hmmm i suggest you restart t phone once 2days,,
it just like computer after all

Android is far better than Symbian because in Symbian there is few applications to download from app. store and many of them are not free. Yes, it has got good battery power. So make your choice.

Saks, 28 Mar 2011Hi, Im planning to buy a new mobile..! My choice is C7 o... moreWell, you are looking for 2 apsolutly different models. HTC Desire Z is qwerty phone but C7 is not. At the other C7 has symbian^3 platform and Desire Z has Android. C7 has MUCH better quality. It's made of aluminium, it's slim but the other way it's heavy. The C7 has much better camera although it has no AF. At the end the processors used in both phones are at the similar speed, but remember that Android OS is based on Java which require much better processor and much more speed and RAM. I got my C7 one month ago and I'm satisfied with it. No bugs, excellent design, speedy, great call voice.

The main purpose was to buy Nokia C7 because of free GPS. I get little bit upset because the GPS has difficulty find my location and want to go Internet all the time? What can I do? I f I compare Nokia 5230- is easily could find the location.

why, 28 Mar 2011it's pretty noticeable when opening the ovi store with that... moretried it already bro..no streaking lines or whatsoever. brightness set to 50% (I even covered the light sensory) and nothing (but I have the purple issue though :() to make sure you don't have a defective AMOLED better have it checked at NCC. Anyway, you said your from the philippines right?..I've read at an N8 thread (symbianize)that nokia philippines are now accepting
AMOLED screens with purple issue and replacing it with
new AMOLEDS. Are you aware of this? Im not really sure
about this, but I think its worth a try. that is if
you have the purple issue as well.kindly give us a feedback as soon as you've brought your phone dude.thanks.

maybe it's a defect or something...i'm emailing nokia and i hope they will give me some proper answer or else i'm gonna bring this to NCC...by the way thank u man...
and by the way i updated my c7 to pr1.2
and my battery is way better now..before updating to pr1.1 my battery is ok but it is easily draining with pr1.1..but i think pr1.2 solve the battery draining issue..
