After a reboot when I tried it again it changed my theme to default (i assume that happened cos of low memory) and it brought up the 'out of memory' msg. My N82 used to show that error with app manager, help and sometimes with contacts (i have about 350 contacts, but i dont think that should be a problem)
Anyway, all my apps are installed on the mass storage (8GB) partition, i have about 5 GB left on that. I store all my media exclusively on the memory card. Let me know ur thoughts on this issue.
I havent used Jbak taskman on the C7, are you using the S60v5 version? I have netquin av installed, havent tried out the netquin uninstaller. Do you recommend that? I'm not too worried about uninstalling, but like you pointed out, junk files tend to collect from old installations.
And btw..are you able to access the widget ui? In my phone it shows up momentarily while booting up but even though I can see it in the task manager, selecting it just takes me back to the homepage. let me know ur experience. Cheers.

Cause Symbian^1 phones just freeze when faced with similar conditions. Still have to face the same on S^3. I am not sure but I think the application manager of netqin antivirus can uninstall themes. Of all application managers, I find netqin most powerful cause if some app fails to uninstall using the phone's uninstaller, this doesn't. And because of this I was saved from many issues that I faced installing malicious apps (i mean beta versions of some apps that has side effects).
Btw, do you use Jbak task manager. Its quiet good.

there is a free "Quickoffice 6 Pro Viewer" for you to view your files but you cant edit cos it just a viewer.
to edit document purhased the Quickoffice Premier 6 there is a 50% disount for it!

Just an issue of the C7 which I've finally experienced today and have experienced on some symbian phones earlier..I now have around 172 apps, themes and games installed on my c7. I can now no longer open the default application manager -> installed apps. It seems that the app manager is overwhelmed by the number of apps and gives me an out of memory error. This happens even if the phone is freshly rebooted with a free ram of 140 MB. I dont foresee any particular problem with these as you can uninstall apps directly with organise -> delete, but uninstalling themes are a little trickier, it requires deletion of specific files. I've installed batch uninstaller which is another uninstall program and that works fine.
This is just an issue to be aware of for those unfamiliar with symbian phones..installing too many apps might give you out of memory errors in your app manager. Incidentally, there is no dent in the performance of the phone at all if you're wondering..folders where I've arranged a lot of apps take slightly longer than normal to open the first time, but thats it.

[deleted post]present cost of nokia c7 is Rs-16859/- and also 2 years warrenty in mobile store,it is similar than nokia n8 only the camera pixel capacity is different c7 has 8MP n8 has 12MP only one difference but c7 has 1gb rom n8 has 512mb rom so u can safley buy c7 ok nice.
