Bought the phone in Malaysia and broke down after 2 days as it turns off automatically. Brought back to the shop and asking for 1 to 1 replacement but they refused to do as Nokia did not honour them instead ask me to send for repair at Nokia Care Center. It took almost a month to get it done and the reason given was " no parts available ". I dont understand why Nokia did not honour 1 to 1 replacement compared to USA and such a huge/wellknown company did not carry parts for replacement.

Nokia way over-priced this handset, I understand the N8 being around $500-, but Nokia is facing a tough competition in the very segment, this phone represents, like the LG Optimus, Samsung Galaxy Ace, Geo and many others for a fraction of the price of the C7. Sorry but for this price I can get a BB Torch, which is a real-smart pone. I really like the way this phone looks, but not for this price..

guys i have a question,the only problem i have with my c7 is that whenever i insert the simcard to the phone,it's not clicking though,and i can't remove it by clicking it..i asked a technician and he couldn't also remove it by clicking thus left us by pulling it by a sharp object is working..
now my question is..is it possible that my sim compartment is defective?

the swype text input is fantastic,,,i'm loving it..
one thing,in case you guys are lazy enough not to press the menu hardware button..you can still go to root menu by using a virtual one,just edit the homescreen...add shortcut icons hold the shortcut icon pop up menu will come out press settings then change any widget you like to a menu icon,,

bytheway i bought it for Rs. 17,950 from Magnet Telelinks Pvt Ltd (Nokia Priority) in Vile Parle (Mumbai), it came along with a 8gb memory card and a nokia pouch.. i also got a card to scratch which got me a free reebok watch (not dat great).

Jus bought this phone.. n im in love again :-P
the sound with sennheiser cx180 street 2 earphones is awesome!
it wil play any video format... tested a Xvid (avi) movie and flv (flash) clip, n it plays!!
the cam is ok, not that great (coz of fixed focus), but im not that into photography.
looks r good!
ive never had an android or an iphone but im more than happy with this nokia masterpiece.
jus hope it doesnt go dead in a weeks time.. :-P

I have had this device for almost a month now and I am already loving its performance, features and design. Go ahead anyone who plans to buy this phone as it does not really differ from the n8 which is an extremely great device. Another advantage of buying this phone is that nokia is going to release symbian^4 this year, which I think will be pretty much good.
