Oh I forgot..the Lumia has no file manager and no way to use .zip/.rar files, mass storage only works for media and documents.

Sometimes you have to question the direction technology is going.
My 2 year old C7 runs symbian,has Penta Band 3G,does 3G Video calls,has NFC, has a full fledged file manager, DLNA, USB On-the-go and SD TV out.
My year old Android (HTC EVO 3D) runs ICS, has quad band 3G, no 3G video calling,no NFC, no USB on-the-go feature(only a few androids support this), has an MHL TV out (for which I need a special cable and additional power supply) but thankfully still has DLNA.
My new Lumia WP8 phone runs the latest version of WP8, has LTE and 3G, no 3G video calling, no DLNA yet (no idea when it will come), No MHL/TV output and no USB on the go functionality.Oh yeah,they say it has NFC.
Progress indeed, when you consider my 2 year old C7 now runs software that is officially "dead".

I used the Samsung Galaxy S Duos and now I am quite satisfied with my C7. The device has 1 Ghz processor and about 760 MB RAM, but cant play 480p videos, while C7 can play 720P videos off a pen drive... cool. Galaxy S cant play HD games, flv, mkv etc. ... just a few of the advantages of C7.

A good compact phone.Display is good.Camera is good.The sound quality is great with FM or music.Browsing is very fast with 3.5G even at nights.Belle is user friendly with an easy to use interface.Battery is quite decent with an average of two days.If you are planning a trip to Glastonbury where there are no plugs we'd pack the c7.There are a plethora of connectivity options.Some high end phones don't even have NFC.The c7 has it.Gaming is good with Need For Speed Shift.An overall decent phone with specifications that can match today's standards.

They are fast and demanding specially on the hardware. I think some of the phones are massive and carrying around will really be cumbersome. I like my things simpler... with a better build quality and able to do most of the things ... So I guess I will stick around with my good ol' C7 for some more time. I just got a Samsung Galaxy S Duos as a gift and have yet to use it. Initially though, I found it harder to use than Symbian... maybe I will get used to it after a while. I have always been curious as to why Android has bee so popular ... I know it's the App market where everyting is available for Androids. Cheers!!!

Hi Ashman!! Good to see you going strong here, and good to hear your adventures with the C7. I still use mine, I got a Lumia 820 recently..back to Nokia!! Its good but more like iOS, has some file restrictions which you wont like going from symbian or android. Its a good phone but not upto android yet..not in apps or user experience..lets see if it can save Nokia!! Right now I'm using my C7 for calls, Android for browsing and Lumia 820 for both when I dont have the other two!! Working well. Keep up the good work..Cheers!!

using it from one nd half year..no problems,complaints at all.best battery life,awesome camera wid dual led flash[autofocus :( ],best build quality,cool hd games,cool UI(belle ofcourse),no lags ,awesome browser(not to mention 3g nd wifi connectivity)..personally i hate battery sucker android..ovi store nd many websites provide sufficient 'utility' apps(we dnt want live wallpaper nd all other childish things),nfc,hd out etc etc etc......................................................... :)

hi,
can anyone tell me why there is no notification light for new e-mail, I only have red notification light for what`s up and regular for missed call and new sms. And does someone know good freeware software for folder play...

Hey Guys!!!, has anybody been facing problems with the Swype pen input on their Symbian phone? I have heard it is a common problem now with Symbian and Nokia is trying to find a solution for it. The problem occured about 5 days ago and I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app about 3 times already. Still does not work. Very strange indeed.

I got my C7 1,5 years ago and it's still working fine! I've installed about hundred apps, dropped it many times from different heights but it only has a little scratch on one side. It can play almost any type of media file, including FLAC audio (I got it working with folder play) and most videos I have. The battery is still in good condition. It was definitely a good buy!

710 has mch mor highr specs...yet c7 outclases it.

Guys Swype has stopped working on my phone... wonder what the problem is... I have uninstalled and reinstalled it at least two time to solve the problem. pls suggest.
