Is it a big deal that the C7 lacks auto-focus? I am no too much of a camera buff but I want the snaps I take to be good..

hey guys,
I am thinking between N8 and C7.. i don mind paying extra for the N8 but the design of the C7 pulls me more towards it.. what do u say? m planning on buying C7 today but I have been reading a lot about the restarting problem..

Mine ... morei now have this phone for 2 days.so far so good.no hanging or any restarting or switching of problem.i hope this would last like 4ever..amazing phone..c7 is just fantastic..tnx 4 your advice!
(i'm actually using the phone to reply on your post),no crashing whatsover so far...superb phone.

i am giving solution to C7 USER TO SOLVE UR PROBLEM.
C7 PROBLEM:
1. Phone hangs then restarts after a
few seconds
2.phone hangs, shuts
down, then cannot be started up
again for a while, like 30 minutes.
C7 SOLUTION OF PROBLEM:
Mine also has defect in it and i rectify in following way.
~back up ur msg,contact,videos,image
to PC.
~then format ur mmc and remove it.
~remove 3rd party app,games from ur
phone.
~do hard reset by pressing *#7370#
then
~reinstall C7 FIRMWARE from nokia
care and after that
~then update ur phone with latest firmware v012.004 RM-675 file size-274 MB (release on
30dec) in INDIA from ovi suite or from nokia care and then
~transfer ur
back up msg,contacts,photos.
now it
will work fine and flawlessly without any
problem and now ur problem will be
solved.
IMROVEMENTS IN FIRMWARE v012.004:
~fix all restarting,hanging
bugs that have in older
Firmware
~Updated version is very quick for
video sharing.
~It has all new updated Facebook
application.
~Improved browser speed and also the
search speed also.
~It also provided updated country and
region maps plus in-device user guide.
~Improved search. Performance improvements.

READ MY GUIDE TO SOLVE C7 PROBLEM
Gadget is not a device with an error-free. Just like the other human’s product, it can be broken. Eventhough we have looked after it very carefully. One of gadgets that oftenly face a problem is mobile phone. Almot no mobile phone is in a good shape for a long time.
A Nokia N97, 5800, 5230, 5250, 5530, C7-00, user has a self- restart problem.
It starts with no alert or vibration signaling when a message
is received. When the inbox of messages is visited, it is suddenly blank. Most people will try to reboot their phone repeatedly in order to fix the problem. But for this case, it’s useless.
There are a few things that can make this problem occurs. One of them is because the bulk of messages on the phone. Deleting as many messages as possible will help to fix the problem, if it’s the case. If it’s not helping, try this methods.
First method :
Make a backup of only ‘Messages’ on a PC using Ovi Suite. Delete all messages from the phone followed by restarting and trying again.
Second method :
Make a backup of all data without ‘Settings’.
Do a ‘Factory Reset’ *#7780# and check the result. This will not delete anything from the phone, but the user will have to do the settings or a customization again.
C7 automatic restarting and hanging problen:

Well, I can assure you all that it is not more likely to "die" than any other smartphone out there. I Have had it a pretty long time now, and the quality is very good. Just do the updates.

I am happy now and install lots of app,games.
Play games on tv screen with C7.

1. Doe... moreans-1)yes it is 100% true that s^3 will receive s^4 update in summer probably in july.
ans-2)yes, u can connect usb mouse,usb keyboard,usb remote,etc.
There is no 100% sureity that every mouse,keyboard etc will work but allmost general and universal device are able to connect.
ans-3)The C7 does not have an HDMI port but it does have
a TV-OUT. It is still able to output video,photos,games
but not of HD quality.
