cyber, 27 Dec 2010can anyone tell me why symbian^3, and nokia n97 has symbian... moren97 has an operating system termed Symbian s60 5th ed. Firmware version 9.4. The 9.4 is the version of the software preinstalled in the phone when u buy it. Then when you update, it gets to 9.5 then 9.6 and so on. The Symbian^3 phones are those newly realeased replacing the older symbian s60 5th ed. The ^ in the symbian means progress above the rest, which means that symbian^3 will be leading the global market above the rest of its competing operating system.

@jasleen, get c7! Wtf u are choosing bet x6 and c7? Those 2 are not on the same category. C7 is way better bec of 8mp camera, 3.5 inch display. Amoled quality and most of all, symbian^3 OS. If you got the budget get c7 rather than x6 bec it is much better, updated and classy. Hope i helped! Merry Christmas and Happy New year!

NEED SOME HELP GUYS!!
i already downloaded games in ovi store and installed it successfully..
but every time i open/RUN the game, it always searches for WLAN and with this you can no longer play the selected games..
does this mean that games downloaded from ovi store cannot be played if you don't have internet connection?????

Hey guys m planning to buy mobile on 01 Jan'11 but li'l bit confused. Can anybody help me out in selecting the mobile..?? I m thinking of C7, X6 8GB & X6 16GB.
I have searched it on the net & I did'nt find any diff b/w X6 8GB & X6 16GB but found that X6(both) hangs a lot. As far as C7 is concerned I have seen the reviews that it has a bad battery back up.
In a nut shell, most of the features are similar b/w these 2.
PLz suggest me..

I bought this phone 2 days b4 but the problem is its battery battery backup is to poor so i suggest u to all that u will never purchase this phone

The menu botton keeps flashing intermittenatly although I don't use the mobile . Is it normal?? I checked & found there are no open applications
Another thing, I set the deafault connection to WAP but it still connects via my network operator although there are wirelessnetworks in the area ??

Spade, 25 Dec 2010count the numbers android OS with 1 gig proc? or a Symbian ... moreHigher numbers don't always mean better, especially with today's hardware which have many factors to consider. Keep counting, noob. :)
