s05, 16 Dec 2010its not true my C7 plays file more than 5gb easliy... no pr... moreIf that, but you might wanna check GSM Arena's review. Inside the Video section it is clearly mentioned that it don't play files exceeding 2GB. Even i took a shock there !

Nokia is history now. Symbian is dead with Bada 2.0 on the cards Bada is the future. C7 is laggy and shit.

I bought a new Nokia C7 but directly Dead 1 day total ... I do not know what the problem .. It is now 3 days still waiting for a replacement phone

coffeebrewer, 20 Dec 2010my c7 just died after using it for 36 days... after bringin... moreI encountered the same problem after only 3 days of using it. I remember that while playing a video avi format the screen just froze and it won't open. luckily it has a 7 day warranty and the store replaced it. Right now C7 is working fine. I hope it would not die on me.

Except NOKIA all other manufacturers prefer only auto-focus in mid and higher end models.
NOKIA started doing real business.(Cheap Fixed Focus and No Carl Zeiss lens)with higher price.
Nokia claims that fixed focus is good and better and claims that these new symbian^3 devices will outperform over flagship N8 because of Fixed(Full)-focus

my c7 just died after using it for 36 days... after bringing it to the nokia center they said it's hardware issue and they will fix it. anyone encountered the same problem with their c7?

my cousin and I compared our phones.. He has NOKIA N8 and I have NOKIA C7.. ALMOST the same except the camera but after we run same 8 apps simultaneously NOKIA N8 hangs and restart while my NOKIA C7 run smoothly without any lags.

Good touch phone.Speed and navigation is good.
Good video and sound quality.
Web browser is weak, but Opera, uc browser works well in this phone.
Mobipocket,wikireader,skype is not supported by its OS.
One can add more home pages by applications like SPB mobile shell.

u need to buy memory card micro ""sdhc"" cost u 1500rs/- more bcoz 720p hd recording possible only in micro sdhc not on microsd
and internal memory is better
SCREEN
no amoled in wave 2
wav2 3.7' c7- 3.5' but .2' not a big deal i think
c7 - gorilla protection , wav- oleophobic scratch resistant but no one can come close 50% to gorilla....grrrr
screen resolution wave is double winner
but overall both r equal but i prefer c7 amoled if u need big secrren u can goo for galaxy tab ...welcome..

os are at same level both cant match android , wp7
but for simple music, video player , photos , gaming , book reading , chating
u dnt need heavy android
symbian 3 get update soon and bada os is now at 1.2 level
but i still like sym3 touchwiz is like cartoonish to me .... and c7 has good screen interface.. i like the way of widgets on c7

c7 has much much better call reception 100 , wave 2 - 50 (out of 100 no.)
PROCESSOR
wave 2 1gb processor but 680mb is sufficient 1gb rom u can run 20-25 app. at a single time without lag... u can see videos on youtube
and watch gaming on n8 it is same on c7 100% same only hdmi connectivity missed...
and n8 has too good gaming i dnt see much abut wave 2... but wave2's little brother is quite good...

usb on the goo latest and good feature c7 yes excellent, w2- no... i like usb on the goo 10 points more to c7 surely
lifetime navigation c7- yes , w2- 30 days
so it depends on you if u take pictures from 1meter to infinity and 8 gb memory or want to buy a microsdhc depend on u...
both are equal
it is like one is eminem's - not affraid and other is eminem's - loss yourself....
i try demo of nokia c7 and n8 at store i m really impressed
but not wave2's till now....
wave2's review are not on much websites but c7 on every single one......
some wesites dislike c7..or give it 6-7/10 becoz of sym3 only.. %^&* them clg guys , youth dnt read office documents cnet.uk

and pls dont post anything n97, sony vivaz pro... they r much behind wave2 and c7...
they r old technlogys now..pls grow up...

nit, 12 Dec 2010this phone one problem when using internet phone become hotthat's true! It becomes hot after excessive used of internet. The good thing is, the phone is still functioning well.
