I've bought the device yesterday
Too many restart with WIFI
Today it is dead, after using the WIFI.

Hai. I had a c7 for a couple of days and there s no difference in software between s60 and s3. The sound s soo poor. N8 sound quality s way better. Dont think i am a nokia hater. I have used most of nokia's high-end phones. Also htc, sony, samsung. But believe me if u r looking for outer appearance go for c7 or go for htc or sony x10. Now x10 has got 2.1 update with HD video recording with cotinuous autofocus cam. Now i have htc wildfire. Its good but it too has some bugs 2 be rectified. As a mobile shop owner for around 15 years i dont recommend c7 apart from executive looks.
This is my personal opinion and am not criticising anybody or anybody's comment.

PLEASE HELP!!! I purchased my nokia c7 and followed the steps to give my contacts personalized ringtones but the phone still rings with the default ringtone. What am i doing wrong?

I think Nokia's use of EDoF cameras on the C6-01 and C7 is a very smart move and will let more people take better photos more of the time. EDoF on the E7 is trickier. I'd argue that anyone with enough 'drive' to lust after and purchase the E7 is going to be tech-savvy enough to expect a proper focussing camera. Not just to capture business documents, but because he or she is going to want the very top end functions and EDoF, excellent though it is, is definitely aimed at the mid-tier and people who aren't technical enough to cope with focussing under real world pressures and conditions.
As a postscript to this piece, it should be noted that EDoF cameras will likely take better video as well, for almost everybody. Many of Nokia's recent 5 megapixel cameras have been left focussed on infinity in 'video' mode, meaning that any subject within a couple of metres (people, pets) are always a little blurry - very disappointing. Because, by definition, EDoF units are focussed on a point in the middle foreground (the RGB differences being ignored in video mode), video from the C6-01, C7 and E7 should be surprisingly clear and a welcome surprise to anyone upgrading from a 5800, X6 or N97 (for example).
Watch this space for full reviews of each of these three new devices in due course. Rest assured that I'll put their cameras through their paces in my usual thorough fashion!

As I said Video Recording is good enough but when you playback recorded Video on Computer, that time it doesn't play well. There are some lags while playing. But at the same time if you play the same video on mobile, you will not come to know any difference. Sound wise phone is pretty good. I mean it's up to you as what are you looking as "Sound". Audio Quality or Loudness or both. Audio quality is pretty descent and Loudness is good.

Anonymous, 12 Nov 2010hey is the 5mp camera of x6 better than 8mp of c7?You can look at Allaboutsymbian.com for some pictures taken on the C7. If you only need small pictures upto or less than A4 size then the camera, defintion, quality & noise reduced artifacts are not that bad.
That said. The colour reproduction of EDOF lenses does not tend to capture the correct colour. So colour saturation is off & most colours tend to look the same.
Overall the camera is very good for a quick fixed focus at 50cm everything is in focus & looks clear enough with minimal blurring but gthink about colour, fixed focus, limited to 50cm for things to be in focus, think about noise & quality only good for 6x4 or 10x15 & upto A4 size.
Anything bigger will lose quality & look poor. Also bad noise reprodcution in low or very low light even with LED flash. It's still better than 5800, not sure whether it's much better than X6. I would be inclined to think so.
If you want a great camera phone. Look at getting N8. If you can't then the C7 is probably going to be your best bet. It has no MAcro mode does C7, but N8 does have an adjustable digital focus which uses the full resolution of sensor, it's 12MP sensor.
It's also better in very low light thanks to Zennon flash. Their is very low noise artifacts in all photos, you can even dowload an app which allows N8 to take wide panoramic photos.
