While Samsung and HTC are busy filling the gap with lower powered phones with lower specs running ICS, trying to hook on more people to join the Android bandwagon, Nokia thinks exclusivity.

      I think Nokia is very confused now... should it go headlong into the Windows phone platform or to further develop Symbian into a competetive OS.

        wht a awessome set it is.....i had upgraded it to belle...it is working as smooth as butter ....and no probs occur.....its front camera is very excellent.......i use my phone as modem and its speed is 580.60 kbps......jhakaaaas set..

            snlraj, 25 May 2012Hi i am using c7 for 1.5 yrs. updated to anna worked great ... moremusic key or Dzmusickey apps to control music when phone lock. Uc video or nokia videos player apps for continues play. For music lover try TTpod player, it can show lyrics during play music also hv music effect n cover album or picture. Shazam for seach music, only open apps it will listen n show the title song.

              Hi guys. I lost my front comera after updating to Belle. Nokia service says I must hard reset my C7. If I restore a computer backup after the hard reset, will I loose anything like downloaded apps? Will I need to set up screen layout again?

                I hope u never used nokia bubbles n sleeping screen apps....it has diff screen savers,sceen saver clock, slide unlock(pretiest n effective),music control even in lock screen n many more
                U can download them from nokiabetalabs....just google it...cheers

                  Guys ... just wondering ... if HTC Desire C with it's 600 Mhz cpu can handle Ice-Cream Sandwich, I am sure C7 can handle Belle FP1 now and FP2 if it ever comes around. I wonder what is stopping Nokia from releasing that for our phones.

                    Hi i am using c7 for 1.5 yrs. updated to anna worked great !! then updated to belle works even better !! once i had a problem in camera before 7 months which was rectified in nokia care. after that it works like gem. tv out works great. after updating to belle battery drians quickly then used to charge once the phone get switched off, after that battery backup is good. average use of 3 to 4 hours of wifi, 1 to 2 hrs of gprs i get 1 and half days of battery backup.some dis adv is it does not have a AF camera. screen slide lock is not effective. no button to play or pause songs when the phone is locked. video player does not play the vidos continuselly. In music player folder cannot be added to playlist.

                    Button in between the vol+ vol- can be used for pause or play songs when the phone is locked

                      C7, 24 May 2012Dear ashman waiting for your reply SOONI agree with Gadget Lover on the choice of Android phones. SOLA seems good, Sony does make very stylish durable phones. Also please consider Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 I8160. It's new and fits your budget and has a good specs sheet. I think this phone will find a good spot in the mid up-market segment. Take a look at HTC Sensation XL and HTC One V.

                      Anyway bro... the decision is entirely yours and you should follow your heart.

                      One little thought... why dont you go for an Android tablet instead... it will fullfil your hunger for apps and you can experience Android in it's full glory.

                        Oh and to C7 zak,just to add to my previous post, if budget is an issue, consider the Samsung Galaxy ACE 2 too, its a good option from Samsung. Dont be fooled into getting a Galaxy R/W/Advance, pay a little more and get a Galaxy Nexus or S2 if you can. you wont regret it..get the highest specced phone you can afford at the moment.

                          AnonD-15537, 24 May 2012hi c7 zak im also thinking the same,any way i shud ho got... moreTo all the guys here thinking of getting an Android..you should know that there are some things you will miss straight away from ur C7's..like SD TV out, 3G video calling (only a few droids support this unlike Nokias), easy USB OTG (droids require an MHL adapter and all dont do it), and especially the clear phone calling and great network quality of the C7.

                          I myself got a HTC EVO 3D cheap a few months ago and now I use that and the C7. My advice to those looking to get a droid is to get one of the newer (late 2011 to 2012) phones, preferably dual core. Now that the S3 is releasing, the Samsung S2 is pretty cheap and is a very good choice. The problem with the newer Sony's is the lack of SD card and use of micro sim in many of their new models, the exception being the SOLA. So thats a good choice, EXCEPT it doesnt have a front facing camera. The HTC one V is a good low budget option with good performance, I prefer HTC sense to Samsung Touch Wiz UI. I wouldnt advise anyone to get the lower ranked maufacturers like Huawei. Get a samsung/HTC or Sony/LG. Just check out the phones before you make a choice and remember..the Androids have their plus points like good social networking and Web browser and apps, but there are a few things you'll miss from the C7 too.

                          To C7 Zak..the Xperia SOLA or HTC One V may be good options for you, but if you can raise ur budget a bit and get an S2, you might be able to use it aleast another couple of years. Good Luck and Cheers.

                                        I'd tried the dummy, well still comfortable to be grabbed. The features are good, cheaper than Nokia C6-01 Hope the price can go down anymore.
